Universal has allocated money for the action film The Man with the Iron Fists

Universal has struck a deal to finance and distribute The Man With The Iron Fists, a martial arts film that will mark the directorial debut of Wu-Tang Clan singer RZA, who is co-writing the script with Eli Roth. Roth). RZA will play the titular character, a blacksmith who forges weapons for villagers in feudal China. They have to defend themselves, and besides, they all know kung fu.

Roth will co-produce, along with Mark Abraham and Eric Newman of Strike Entertainment. The soundtrack, of course, will be created by RZA. The film will begin filming in September in Hong Kong on a budget of around $20 million.

Roth, who wrote the script for the horror film “Hostel” and played one of the roles in “Inglourious Basterds,” does not know for sure whether he will take part in the filming, but says that the idea for “The Man with the Iron Fists” was born under the creative mentorship of Quentin Tarantino and a similar style could be seen in “Kill Bill”.

“RZA designed every clan, every fighting style, every costume for the film,” Roth admitted. “He knows kung fu like I know horror movies.”

I don’t want to offend anyone, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. RZA really doesn’t know how to fight, although he trains hard. You can’t compare him with Rain. All of Riza’s work is based on kungfu (especially in films) and this will not be a commercial project for the soul .Here is a clip from the 90s to make sure:
