Josh Heald, John Hurwitz and, Hayden Schlossberg - writers, producers and directors of the series “Cobra Kai“, they are preparing the final, 6th season of the saga, which will be broadcast on Netflix. The upcoming season will consist of 3 parts and 15 episodes. The first part starts on July 18, the second on November 28, and the third will be in 2025 (no exact date yet).
"Cobra Kai” marked the return Ralph Macchio, William Zabkaand Martina Kouvawho reprized their roles from the highly successful film franchise John G. Avildsen, which spawned three sequels, remake, and upcoming sequel to the original.
Cobra Kai returned in later seasons Elizabeth Shue, which was in “Karate guy” (1984); Tamlyn Tomita и Yuji Okumoto from "Karate Guy 2” (1986); and Thomas Ian Griffith, Sean Kanan и Robin Lively from the third part of 1989 - respectively.
In the last season K.S. Lee (Dexter, The Sopranos) will play the iconic role from “Karate guy“. According to Deadline, Lee will play Master Kim Sun Young, a character who previously only appeared in flashback form in The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai. Master Kim is believed to be dead, and it is currently unknown in what form he will be presented.
Fans of the upcoming season are wondering if the character will appear Jackie Chanto connect the plot with upcoming crossover movie? Despite the fact that the creators of the series previously said that they had nothing to do with the sequel to the original, it somehow intuitively seems that the connection between these projects is inevitable.
