Tom Hardy will star in Gareth Evans, Henry Cavill in Chad Stahelski, and Idris Elba in Sam Hargrave.

We have already wrote that the Welsh director of such hits as "Merantau" (2009), duology "Raid" (2011, 2014), "Apostle" (2018) and TV series "Gangs of London" preparing a new project.

Tom Hardy will star in Gareth Evans, Henry Cavill in Chad Stahelski, and Idris Elba in Sam Hargrave.

We are, of course, talking about Gareth Evans and his new action thriller "Devastation" (or "Destruction"). Details of the director's future film are gradually emerging, namely the synopsis and partial cast.

Synopsis: After a drug deal goes wrong, an injured undercover detective must confront corrupt cops while rescuing the son of an important politician from criminal captivity.

The film is produced by the companies One More One Productions, Severn Screen и XYZ Films, and the release platform will be Netflix. This will be Evans' second time collaborating with the streaming giant. The first was a thriller "Apostle" (2018)

Well, and the most interesting thing is that the main role in the film will be played by a Hollywood star Tom Hardy (“Warrior”, “Mad Max: Fury Road”, “Venom” duology). Another famous actor will also be involved in an unnamed role - Forest Whitaker ("Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai", "The Last King of Scotland").

A former member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Association - a Welsh stuntman - is responsible for the action. Jude Poyer, with whom Gareth worked on "Apostle" и "Gangs of London". The film is in pre-production, so it is not yet known when the release will take place. But we are waiting!

Tom Hardy will star in Gareth Evans, Henry Cavill in Chad Stahelski, and Idris Elba in Sam Hargrave.

Seems like a long stalled project Chad Stahelski (John Wick trilogy) to restart the fantasy franchise "Highlander" moved from a dead point.

This became clear after the famous Hollywood actor Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel”, “The Agents of U.N.C.L.E.”, “Mission Impossible: Fallout”, TV series “The Witcher”) hinted on his Instagram that he had received the main role in the future film. This was later confirmed by Stahelski himself.

Well, it is now known that the iconic role of the immortal Scottish warrior Duncan McCloud will go to the British Cavill. Unfortunately, there is no more news about the relaunch. It's also unclear when Chad is going to film the new one. "Highlander", because of the confirmed projects, the fourth film in the franchise is “hanging on” with the former stuntman "John Wick" (although rumors persist that Stahelski will limit himself only to producing duties), a remake "The Man from Nowhere" and film adaptation of a computer game "Ghosts of Tsushima".

In the meantime, we are waiting for more information, in the comments you can speculate about what might happen Chad Stahelski in the setting "Highlander" starring Henry Cavill.

Tom Hardy will star in Gareth Evans, Henry Cavill in Chad Stahelski, and Idris Elba in Sam Hargrave.

Famous British actor Idris Elba (“Star Trek Beyond,” “The Dark Tower,” “Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw”) will star in the new project of a stuntman, action director and director Sam Hargrave, who debuted with the action film last year "Tyler Rake: Operation Rescue".

The film was named "Do not move" (Stay Frosty) and will tell the story of a man who miraculously survived a bullet wound to the head, who must find out who tried to kill him and why. Moreover, the main character needs to stop the killer before Christmas Eve, as he promised to spend it with his beloved son.

The main driving force behind the future action film is the film company Warner Bros., the comic book writer is responsible for the script Tyler Morseca, and one of the producers is Elba himself.

Interestingly, demand for Hargrave appeared just after "Rescue Operations". In addition to the picture with Idris Elba and prequel "Tyler Rake" for Netflix, Sam should direct a war drama "Combat Control" (Combat Control), in which the main role went to the actor Jake Gyllenhaal (“The Day After Tomorrow”, “Live”, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”).

We are happy for Hargrave and look forward to his new projects.

Idk, to be honest, it seems to me that no remake of Highlander is needed... well, if only we take the role of Kurgan Scott Adkins, then yes, we can take a look, otherwise... a typical Hollywood hat will be like in MK
