It is not yet known what role Yeo, 57, will play, but we hope she will be given an action scene. According to the film "Master Z: Ip Man's Legacy"Michelle is in great shape.

But that's not all the news concerning Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. And again news about the restart of the famous series "Kung Fu" (1972-1975) starring David Carradine. Just recently we wrote that the unfinished remake of the series will turn into a TV film under the direction of a film company FOX and streaming channel CW. And now information has appeared that the project has finally found its director.

He became a former stuntman, and now a successful action film director. David Leitch (“John Wick”, “Atomic Blonde”, “Deadpool 2”, “Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw”). According to the news agency Collider, the rights to restart the franchise were bought by a film company Universal Pictures.

By the way, this fact may mean that the plot with a shift in emphasis towards a strong female character, which FOX studio bosses have determined, may be reworked. For now, all that is known is that, unlike the original series, in which the action took place in the 19th century, the new film will tell a story about modern times.

Of course, the project’s production team has also changed. Now the film is dominated by itself David Leitch, Kelly McCormick ("Atomic Blonde") and original series writer Ed Spielman.

It is curious that Litch is still officially assigned to the remake of another classic of combat cinema - "Enter the Dragon". Which project will be a priority for David, taking into account also the development of a fantasy drama? "Division", - unknown.

The franchise "Kung Fu" there was already a film version in 1986, in which the main role, in addition to David Carradine played by the son of the legendary Bruce Lee - Brandon.

Well, we can only hope that with the restart it will work out. Vaughn, with "Mortal Kombat" it happened...

The director who introduced the Indonesian master of silat to the world Iko Uwaisa - Gareth Evans (“Merantau”, “Raid” duology) is preparing a new action project. It will be a thriller "Devastation" (Havoc).

Evans reteams with producer and CEO of production company XYZ Films Todd Brown, with whom they worked together on projects such as the dilogy "Raid" (2011, 2014), "Z/L/O 2" (2013) and "Apostle" (2018)

Very little is known about the film yet. On his social networks, Evans teased fans of his work with a ready-made script for "Devastation", and at a recent discussion at a lecture at the Danish Film Institute, Brown said that the start of the filming process is scheduled for the near future.

It is also known that a Welsh stuntman and action director is assigned to the project Jude Poyer, with whom Evans has already worked together on a thriller "Apostle".

We can only hope that the creators will not forget about what they are most looking forward to from Gareth Evans after his “Raids”. And if the film really does involve hand-to-hand combat, we're ready to see some familiar names in the cast soon.

But what about Gangs of London from the same Evans? He directed the action himself and directed half the episodes. True, it doesn’t look like a pure action movie, maybe that’s why they didn’t mention it? There are trailers on YouTube.
