The series seems to be a success "Warrior" based on the work of the legendary Bruce Lee, aroused interest among Hollywood producers in other works in which the most famous popularizer of martial arts had a hand.
Even though it's the same "Warrior" closed after the second season without completing the story, producer Jason Kothari ("Bloodshot") from the company Valiant Entertainment acquired the rights to the original script Bruce Lee called "The Silent Flute" (The Silent Flute).
Adaptation of a new version of an old story will be carried out by John Fusco (Marco Polo series, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny). By format "The Silent Flute" should be a mini-series.
Let us remind you that the script, in addition to Bruce, has two more authors: Stirling Silliphant и James Coburn, and their creation was already used as a feature film, which was released in 1978 under the title "Iron Circle" (later, however, the original title was returned to the film). Back in 1969, it was assumed that it was "The Silent Flute" will be Lee's feature-length Hollywood debut, but then the actor became popular in China. Silliphant returned to the idea of creating the film 4 years after Bruce's death, replacing him with the then gaining popularity David Carradine. By the way, other future classics of world cinema were also in the cast of the film: Christopher Lee, Jeff Cooper и Roddy McDowall.
According to the plot of the original story, in a fictional fantasy world, martial arts master Kord, who does not recognize traditional schools, learns about the existence of a book of higher knowledge, owned by the powerful Zetan, and sets off on a long and dangerous journey in order to look into that very book.

It is curious that several years ago already an attempt was made resurrect "The Silent Flute". At that time, a big-budget blockbuster was planned, the action in which would unfold in a post-apocalyptic future. The main role was predicted Gina Carano, but the project for some reason did not work out. Let's hope that Kothari will be able to take up full-time production of the series. The famous Neo and John Wick rolled into one will play the main role in a new science-fiction project from Netflix. We are talking about a film adaptation of a comic book series called "Berserker" (BRZRKR).
Keanu Reeves became not only the prototype of the main character of comic books, but also created a general concept that was developed by a science fiction writer Matt Kindtt and illustrated by a Marvel artist Ron Gurney, and the company was engaged in publishing BOOM! Studios-published.
