However, due to the fact that at the box office "Master Zee" did not perform very well, it was decided to cut the budget of the second part. The production centers allocated approximately 13 million dollars for the film (the first film cost 28 million), so you should forget about attracting major stars to the project.

The main role is still assigned to the martial artist and actor Max Zhang (“The Edge”, “Escape Plan 3: Devil Station”), and here is the director and choreographer of the first “Master Z” Yuen Woo-ping, most likely, will not appear in the project. It is unknown whether this is due to a decrease in the film production budget, Woo-ping’s busyness with other projects, or due to the age of the master, who will turn 75 this year.

Nothing more is known about the project, but we will keep our finger on the pulse.

Film companies will be responsible for the filming process picturestart, De Luca Productions и Solipsist & X●ception Content, and they are working on the script Doug Miro ("Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time") and Gregory Wyden ("Highlander: The Prophecy").

Yasuke is a real person who went from being a slave of Jesuit missionaries to samurai rank in the court of the commander Oda Nabunaga. Yasuke is considered Japan's most famous black swordsman. It was this man who became the prototype of the comic book and cartoon character "Afro Samurai".

"Yasuke" is planned large-scale dramatic canvas in the spirit "The Last Samurai" (2003) starring Tom Cruise.

Indonesian director Timo Tiajantowho shot thrillers "Raid: Bullet in the Head" (2017) and "Night is coming for us" (2018) appears to be hatching plans for a follow-up film.

The director does not say directly, but gives enough hints that the next project will be either a continuation of “Night” or a plot branch from it. Everything became clearer when Timo posted a blurry image of the actress on Twitter Julia Estell in the image of her character from "Night" nicknamed "Operator" with a note “Night of the Operator”.

Indeed, the character of Julia, despite her coolness, has no backstory in the film. In fact, she appears to kill the main character played by Joe Taslim, and then helps him, protecting the girl who started all the fuss.

Estelle herself let her fans know that she and Tjahjanto are currently working on a specific story.

Nothing more is known about Timo’s future project, but given the fact that the Indonesian director initially planned a whole "Trilogy of the Night", a continuation or, conversely, a prequel is quite possible.

He may be expensive, but he’s not a fighter at all. And he's a lousy actor.

      Lee,

Well, in a samurai movie he doesn’t have to do guykicks. And the rest is a matter of his personal interest, the director, screenwriters, cameramen, editors, stunt team, doubles, etc.

Yasuke is certainly intriguing, but I doubt it will be a blockbuster. Most likely a bug. And the director and screenwriter, and the production company are clearly not of the same level.

      Dmitriy,

Boseman is quite an expensive actor. It is unlikely that he would have signed up for an ordinary bashka.

        Danil Chupakhin,

Just because he starred in Black Panther doesn't make him expensive, outside of Marvel he's average
