Martial arts movie legend Jackie Chan suddenly announced to everyone a possible sequel to his classic duology "Project "A". Let us remember that both films from 1983 and 1987, respectively, are considered one of Chan's best films.
Possible, because at the presentation it was never officially said that the future film called "Project Pi" (Project P) is somehow related to the duology, but reporters saw a pirate logo in the photographs and concluded that this was either a reboot or a sequel. However, a synopsis was soon posted, which does not seem to fit in with the characters and plot "Project "A":
An international movie star named Jackie (Jackie Chan) and his agent named David somehow accidentally became part of the rescue team of the anonymous superstar Pi. They both meet with Jackie's admirer Su Xiaozhu. Together they carry out a difficult mission.
The director of the future comedy action film is unknown. Some specialized resources say that "Project Pi" – this is actually a comedy action movie announced for 2021 "Agent Panda", however, after changing the concept of the film, as well as the acting ensemble.
One way or another, some project is definitely moving towards filming. Well, we'll get the specifics later.
Indonesian director announces new film Timo Tiajanto, who signed a contract with the streaming giant Netflix for several films. The first of these was an action comedy "Big Four" (2022), which, by the way, ended with a cliffhanger that begs for a sequel.
However, Tjahjanto's new project will be a crime thriller "Wandering Shadows" (The Shadow Strays), which he is filming with the same team he worked with on "Four".
The synopsis of the upcoming film is unknown, but the information says that "Wandering Shadows" look like criminal B-shki Abel Ferrara, a little for better work Kinji Fukasaku and on the cartoon "Werewolves" (1999) from the director Mamoru Oshii.
The main roles in the film were given to Aurora Ribero (“Like and Share”), Hana Malasan ("Ben and Jodie") Ali Fikri ("Ghatotkacha") Cristo Immanuel (“Big Four”) and others. Netflix presented a photo of the main cast.
The premiere of the action film is scheduled for 2024.
A fantastic (from the casting point of view) project was conceived by a martial artist, actor and director Michael Worth (“Street Crime”, “Become the Best”, “Knuckle Knuckles”).
A movie called "House of Fangs" (House Of Fangs) should be a kind of tribute to the Hong Kong kung fu films of the 70s, which were then produced by film studios Golden Harvest, Shaw Brothers и Seasonal Film Corporation. Worth wrote the script himself and describes it as a mixture "Dragon Taverns" (1992) and the John Wick films.
And now let’s move on to the “delicious” part – the cast of a hand-to-hand action movie, where Michael decided to drag the stars of the so-called “Brusplotation” - a 65-year-old Dragon Lee (“Clones of Bruce Lee”), 73 years old Bruce Le ("Bruce and the Fist of the Dragon"), 80 years old Chiu Chi-Lina ("Bruce's Deadly Fingers"), 73 years old Bruce Lai ("Bruce vs. Superman"), 73 years old Don Vaughn ("Kung Fu Mao's Revenge") and Bruce Leung ("Bruce vs. the Iron Hand"). But this is only the beginning, since Worth wants to entrust one of the main roles to the legendary Taiwanese actress Angela Mao (“Enter the Dragon,” “Bruce Lee: The Way of the Warrior”), who turned 72 this year.
In addition to Asian oldies, the film may take part Scott Adkins (Undisputed franchise) Mark Dacascos (“Drive”, “John Wick 3”), Dolph Lundgren (Universal Soldier franchise) Lorenzo Lamas (Snake Eater trilogy) and Michael Dudikoff (American Ninja franchise).
The action and fight choreography for this motley crew must be choreographed by martial artist and former member of the Jackie Chan Stuntmen's Association - Andy Cheng ("Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", "Knights of the Zodiac").
All this looks very good on paper, of course, but "House of Fangs" - the project is extremely difficult, and besides, Worth is raising funds for it using crowdfunding - you can visit movie page and support the project.
Well, if Michael succeeds, we will be happy to look at all these war movie guards.

To be honest, “House of Fangs” raises very big doubts, especially since the Chinese already had Gallants with old advanced ones. It's funny, but nothing more. I don’t think such a project will ever see life.
