"Jaya": Darren Shahlavi vs. David Bell

Who left this world prematurely actor Darren Shahlavi 25 years of on-screen performance will be remembered by martial arts fans forever. But, as you know, there are several projects in which we will still be able to see Shahlavi this year. One of them is "Jaya"(Jaya).

"Jaya" is a short sci-fi action film directed by Philippa Tullio, in which we should see a fight Darren Shahlavi with parkour star David Bell (13th district).

In the story, Semerket (Darren Shahlavi) is a cruel and unchallenged master who rules as king in the Three Kingdoms. But when his younger brother Jaya (David Belle) learns that Semerket forced Princess Cassiopeia to marry him, and that she is still alive, he sets out to escape from the prison where his brother was sent and restore justice in the kingdoms.

It seems that David Bell deserves attention not only as a high-class tracer, but he is quite confidently taking his first steps towards martial arts.

By the way, on IMDB the cast mentions a fight choreographer and a karate master Jean Frenette (Pompeii, The Fearless Tiger), who played a certain Master Elias.

    What nonsense ...
The year is 4024 and modern cars are driving.
And people are dressed in modern clothes.
The creators of this “imperishable film” have very little imagination.

      Wesker,

This is a short film, so you shouldn’t apply such high demands to it.

David Bell showed an interesting fight with Cyril Raffaelli back in the first “District Thirteen”. So I wouldn’t talk about the first steps.
