On October 10, 2022, the independent action film director died from as yet unknown causes. R.L. Scott, who was only 45 years old.
Scott was born in the USA in 1977, but spent his entire youth until 1992 in Salvador (Brazil), where he began practicing various types of martial arts at the age of seven. Since childhood, Scott dreamed of making films on his own, so his first short films began appearing in the mid-90s.
The first serious work as a director and choreographer of fight scenes happened in 2008, when the web series began to appear "Champion's Road" starring Brad James. Since then R.L. Scott became one of those independent directors of action and action films on whom specialized media placed their bets as interesting indie projects. This brought the filmmaker to TV, where he produced various mini-series, like "Project "Genesis" (2013) "K.O.L.A." (2019) "Killer Crows" (2020) and others, where Scott was always the stunt coordinator and choreographer.
To our reader R.L. Scott could be remembered for his directorial work on films "Call me King" (2017) and "Lazarus" (2021)
