"Blunt Force" is the story of the unfortunate fate of Afghan war hero Russell Warrington, who was sent home to the states after a fire that killed his entire family.
Arrested by Police Chief Ballard for a street fight, he is drugged and illegally committed to a mental institution. Its director, Aliza Naples, conducts cruel experiments on patients and, for profit, forces some of them to participate in fights broadcast online on her website "Crazyfights".
Russell uses his military training and MMA knowledge to protect himself as he is sent to fight in the "Aquarium", a special padded chamber filled with cameras and one glass wall to provide a spectacle for the bloodthirsty spectators.
With the help of Dale (a friendly orderly), Russell devises an escape plan, intending to publicly expose the director and save three more innocent patients.
Will Dale be able to deliver Russell's message to his former military unit in time? After all, not a single fighter has ever come out of Aliza Naples’ mental hospital alive.
