Filming on the action thriller Skin Trade with Dolph Lundgren and Tony Jaa will begin in January 2014

Dolph Lundgren in his new video message to fans, he said that the filming of the film "The Expendables 3" will end in two weeks. After that, he will go to Cape Town, where he will continue filming the series until December. "Safe". After this, a Christmas table awaits him in Sweden, and then a trip to Thailand. There he will star with Tony Jaa in film "Skin Trade" (Slave trade). Filming will begin on January 4th and will last until March (inclusive).

Interesting fact: The script for “Skin Trade” was written seven years ago, but during this time he was never able to find the necessary finances. After filming A Man Will Rise and meeting Tony Jaa, Lundgren had the idea to film Skin Trade in Bangkok and cast Tony in one of the roles. He rewrote the script, and suddenly, out of nowhere, investors appeared and business partners were found. :)

Filming has been completed (in Thailand). All that remains is to film the scenes in Canada.

Damn, I thought it would come out at the end of this year...I was hoping.

So far, the names of such actors are known: Tony Jaa, Dolph Lundgren, Michael Jai White, Ron Perlman, Peter Weller, Celina Jade and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa.

Tony is back in Thailand and getting ready to film Skin Trade. In addition to Dolph, Ron Perlman (Hellboy 1 and 2, Pacific Rim) will also be involved in the film.

The action in the film will be directed by David Ismalone, aka Mad Dog from Ong-Bak.

When will Tony's movie come out...who knows? It's already October

    In general, Dolph is great!
    Lives for pleasure
    Filming for fun
And I don’t have any complaints about him
They say: "Slipped... filming in UG"
    None at all
    Overall handsome

The main thing is that the action is of high quality!.....In general, the idea itself is interesting!

But for Thais this is very bad/not enough.

Are they not people? =D The same Raid was filmed for about six months somewhere (Evill, I’m wrong about something, correct me), Honor of the Dragon 2 was also somewhere like that (but there was Tony’s injury and there was also a flood or something like that). MAYBE the first Ong-bak films took a year to film, BUT this was most likely also caused by the fact... that then Thai cinema was just beginning to rise and people simply had no experience, 10 years have passed since then, the Thais have already learned a lot in cinema , hence the shooting time is reduced.

So: there is plenty of time allocated, if this is not enough for them...then they are either lazy or the most phlegmatic people in the world =D

In short, whatever one may say, very little time was allocated for filming. The result will be disastrous. In Thailand, normal action films are shot in at least a year.

3 months is VERY good (this is the norm for big Hollywood films). For a DTV movie, this is simply ideal. Ninja 2 was shot in 36 days, Undisputed was shot in 5-6 weeks.

3 months. Dolph says in the video that filming will take place in January, February and March.

2 months. Written from January TO March.

    Filming for 3(!) months...

    By the way:
Initially, the Slave Trade was supposed to take place in Eastern Europe and the main villains were supposed to be... the Russian mafia :)

John Hyams helped Dolph rewrite the script :)
