Tony Jaa, Iko Yuwais, Ma Dong-seok and Jet Li in Asian "The Expendables" (NonStop)

Last December, the international action star Ma Dong-seok \ Don Lee (Crime City) pleased fans with a conceptual poster of a future project called "NON-STOP". The film's poster also features martial arts legends: Iko Uwais (Reid, Merantau), Tony JAA (Ong-Bak) and Jet Li!

Given the fact that trace disease Jet Li back in 2010, he refused roles with heavy physical exertion (he played only minor roles (League of Gods, Mulan)), the project raised doubts, which were replenished with rumors that it would be an animated film.

But Ma Dong-seok indirectly confirmed the development of the project in an interview with Variety. He spoke about his upcoming films, including "Gangster, policeman, devil" from Sylvester Stallone, specifying that "non Stop" (on his page he wrote this title together, but in an interview - separately) will become a real franchise, uniting in one film martial arts stars of Asian cinema, such as Iko Uwais, Tony JAA и Jet Li.

At the moment, there are no details about the film. We can only wait and hope that the Asian version of “The Expendables” will surprise us not only with big names in the cast. ;)

Today marks the 60th anniversary of another martial arts film legend - Mark Dacascos. The age by which most of us will probably already be able to navigate medications at the level of a pharmacist is not a hindrance for Mark. He regularly posts videos of workouts and walks on his page. We wish him good health and creative success!

Honestly, after the fiasco of the last "Expendables" I don't believe it. As they wrote above, Jet Li is very sick, but he is not young. Tony Jaa is also old. I don’t know where, but I have the impression that the arrival of the second generation of action movie actors should be on fire. Andy On, Philip Ng, etc. The same Donnie Yen thundered in the 2000s in his fifth decade. Yes, just like Mo Dong Seok.

"The Expendables" is a good project in the context of marketing. However, the quality of the product itself depends directly on the implementation by filmmakers. We'll see.

Most likely Jet Li will make a cameo or something. But I would watch the fight between Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais!
