Review of the film Dead Sushi with Rina Takeda

Who would doubt that "Deadly Sushi" (Dead Sushi), in which the main character is indeed Japanese food, is a figment of the director’s crazy imagination Noboru Iguchi, which, one might say, became a cult after films such as "Machine Gun Girl", "Robogeisha", "Squad of Mutant Girls" and a number of other insane masterpieces. In the film, a karateka Rina Takeda starred in the role Keiko; She is cast out by her strict chef father and is forced to work part-time at a resort hotel. Unfortunately, a party thrown by employees of a nearby pharmaceutical research center attracts the attention of a crazed ex-employee who brings the deadly sushi to life, unleashes it on guests and employees, and a frenzy of carnage ensues.

In principle, "Deadly Sushi" This is complete psychosis. Every detail is mind-blowing, just as the title promises. Noboru Iguchi with a warped creative approach that does not even fit into his own standards, non-stop bombards the viewer with a cavalcade of completely crazy spectacles. A film with even more comedy than previous works Iguchi, frighteningly creative: Takeda, no matter how strange it may sound, is united with Aggie, a piece of friendly sushi Tamago Yaki, fish are flying everywhere and even a huge “California roll” appears. As always in films Iguchi, full of gore and insane violence, all this carnage is played out on screen just for the sake of laughter and confusing the viewer. But there is nothing overly vile or vicious here. All the actors are playing, just fooling around, most of the attractive actresses walk around in outfits of varying degrees of nudity or have been mercilessly mutilated by sushi. Takeda, as usual, pretty and attractive, got a couple of chances to show her fighting skills in battles with awkward enemies.

"Deadly Sushi" Recommended viewing for fans of the latest wave of eccentric, bloody Japanese cinema or fans of extravagant works Noboru Iguchi, since it contains everything promised by the title, with a whole lot of funny perversions. Everyone else needs to either temporarily turn off their brains or get pretty drunk, and a few drinks before watching will clearly not be enough.

The director ate too much sushi, judging by what's going on in the trailer. They will say - Humor? No - a hospital!
