We continue the topic of game adaptations. A new poster has been posted on comicbookmovie.com "Tekken" (Tekken) with description from distribution company Crystal Sky Pictures. If the poster is to be believed, the film's release date has been pushed forward by almost a month - from September 1st to August 5th. The only thing that confused me in the short list of creators was Dion Lam, who for some reason was listed as the director of the fights (as far as I know, he was involved in the choreography Cyril Raffaelli).
Information from the Crystal Sky Pictures website:
Based on Namco's time-tested and wildly successful video game series of the same name, Tekken is an explosive, intriguing action thriller written by Alan McElroy (Spawn, Marine Corps), directed by Dwight Little (Anaconda 2, White House Murder) and fight choreographed by Dion Lam (Spider-Man 2, Doom, Battle of Red Cliff).
Set in the year 2039, the film features non-stop high-profile action as the best fighters from around the world show up to compete in the latest and greatest sporting competition of all time, the Iron Fist Tournament. After the world wars destroyed most of civilization as we knew it, the remaining territories are no longer under the control of the government, but under the control of corporations, the most powerful of which is Tekken. To avoid mass unrest, Tekken organizes the Iron Fist Tournament, in which fighters fight to the death for the greatest glory, popularity and wealth.
We look at this cruel world through the eyes of Jin Kazama, a street fighter who decides to take part in the tournament to take revenge on the powerful head of the Tekken corporation, Heihachi Mishima, whom he blames for the death of his mother. He realizes that the only way to get closer to Mishima and kill him is to win the tournament. With the help of Lucas, a former Iron Fist champion and now a trainer, Jin manages to break through the tournament, but at the same time he begins to face the secrets of his past and his inner demons, exposing the dark inside of the Tekken Corporation, which threatens the existence of all humanity.
Futuristic and creative settings, a compelling storyline, and fights that combine fighting styles from around the world should make Tekken one of the greatest action films of all time.

when will part 2 come out?
What's the point of taking it off? The first one failed...
when will Tekken 2 come out???...
Today Tekken appeared online.
Off topic, I liked the previous design better, and this one is okay too.
Yes, I don’t remember about the battles to the death either...
Design Good. In the original (pr game) they did not fight to the death (at least in the tournament)
:) tada.wav :)
Finally a new design :)
And just at that time I changed the browser, I already started to think that he was involved) Hahah
On topic. Raffaelli was probably fired)) Although I wouldn’t want to.
When I translated the videos about the making of the film, it had already been filmed. They couldn't fire me. Most likely, some blonde at Crystal Sky got something wrong... Or they forgot to update some of the information.
Thank you. I’ve been wanting to change it for a long time, otherwise reading the text written in white font on a black background is a little hard on the eyes. Especially if there is a lot of text.
Good design with bright surroundings.
The Japanese were lucky, they managed to see it on March 20th.
It seems to me that this film will never come out)
cool
Offtopic: how do you like the new design? :)
