Li Yuchun and Mavis Fan will star in The Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate

Chinese singer Li Yuchun (Li Yuchun), aka Chris Lee (Chris Li), and Taiwanese singer Mavis Fan (Mavis Fan) joined the cast of the film Tsui Harka “The Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate”. It is reported that Lee will play a young fighter girl who masters kung fu and grew up in a family of bandits, and Fan will get a cameo role as a witch.

After making an impressive screen debut in 2009's "Bodyguards and Assassins", this will be the second feature film Lee. Thanks to her acting in the first film, she managed not only to win awards at the 29th Hong Kong Film Festival and the 30th Hungdred Flowers Film Festival, but also to be noticed Tsui Harcom, who eventually invited her to one of the roles.

Mavis Fan Rarely seen on the big screen, she prefers to focus attention on her music. Ironically, in the 90s, when she began her singing career, she was given the nickname “little witch”, since most of her songs were gentle melodies for children and teenagers. In recent years, she tried to move away from her on-screen image and took up rock music.
