Two films will open the Tokyo Film Festival

Every year at the opening Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) show only one film, but this year the creators made an exception, and the festival will open two films at once: "Three Musketeers" Paul Anderson, who was chosen a week ago, and the 100th film Jackie Chan "1911".

Jackie Chan has already agreed to attend the opening ceremony of the film festival, which will be held on October 22, 2011. Here's what he said:

“My 100th film was chosen as the opening special film of the Tokyo Film Festival, which is a great honor for me. This year, Japan faces a difficult recovery process [after the tsunami and earthquake], which makes this film festival even more significant. Heroes always appear and even sacrifice themselves during disasters, so I hope that in the future there will be no reason for heroes to appear. I sincerely wish that my film can “ignite” the resolve of the people of Japan, and at the same time, I look forward to seeing Japanese audiences.”
