Trailers for the films "Neck", "Trilogy of the Gods. Part 1" and "Legend"

The trailer for the long-awaited historical epic from the legendary Takeshi Kitano called "Neck".

Мы already wrote about this project, which should be the last film in the career of the cult Japanese. Plans to film this film Beat Takeshi gestated for more than thirty years, researched the topic and wrote an entire book about the historical event that will be discussed in the film.

Initially, the main role was supposed to go to Ken Watanabe, but the filming schedule did not allow him to take part in the project. As a result, Kitano himself became the producer, screenwriter, director and leading actor.

Synopsis: The film takes place in the 16th century, when rival warlords fought for control of Japan. Lord Oda Nobunaga, seeking to control Japan, wages war against several clans when one of his vassals, Araki Murashige, rebels and promptly disappears. Nobunaga gathers his other retainers, including Mitsuhide and Hideyoshi, and orders them to capture the fugitive Murashige. With various thoughts, schemes and traps that his subjects come up with, they soon find themselves at a crossroads and in a difficult situation.

Apart from the Takeshi Kitano (“Sonatine”, “Battle Royale”, “Zatoichi”) the following took part in the epic: Hidetoshi Nishijima ("New Ultraman"), Tadanobu Asano ("Zatoichi") Ryo Kase ("Letters from Iwo Jima") Shido Nakamura ("Fearless"), Nao Omori ("Dolls"), Kenichi Endo (threequel “The Crow”) and others.

World premiere "Necks" takes place November 23 2023 years.

China also became a fantasy epic. We are talking about the first part of a planned trilogy based on the famous novel "The Creation of the Gods".

The project, which has been in development for more than three years, belongs to the director and producer Wuershan, known for films such as "The Butcher, the Cook and the Sword Bearer" (2010) "Painted Skin 2" (2012) and "Mojing" (2015)

Based on China's most famous classic wuxia novel, the trilogy is a big-budget Eastern epic that recreates the mythical wars between humans, immortals and monsters that took place over three thousand years ago.

The acting ensemble is filled with the following actors: Huang Bo (Trouble franchise), Chris Phillips ("The Monkey King 2"), Xia Yu ("Bruce Lee: Birth of the Dragon") Chen Kun (“Mulan”) and others.

"Trilogy about the gods. Part 1" went to the rental July 20, 2023.

Let’s finish today’s selection with a new film from the good old duo: director Stanley Tuna (“Rumble in the Bronx”) and the legendary s.

We're talking about a movie called "Legend" (The Legend) – we have already written about this project, which is a direct continuation "Mipha" (2005) and a free sequel "Kung Fu Yoga" (2017). In any case, these films are united by a single character - archeology professor Jack played by Chan.

Synopsis: during his research, the main character noticed that the texture of the relics discovered during the excavation of the glacier is very reminiscent of the jade pendant he saw in one of his dreams. The artifact turns out to be so important that he and his team go on an expedition into the depths of the glacier and into their own past at the same time.

Company Jackie Chan (Armor of God trilogy) comprise Bekstiyar Gulnezer ("Game Changer") Zhang Yixing ("Armor of God: In Search of Treasure"), Aarif Lee ("Kung Fu Stallion") Sean Doe ("Dangerous ties"), Max Huang (“Mortal Kombat”), who also worked as a fight choreographer and other actors.

"Legend" should be released in 2024, but there is no exact premiere date yet. And the teaser trailer was released only because it had somehow already penetrated the Internet without the knowledge of the studio bosses. We can only wait.
