Trailers: "Out of Control", "Rules of the Game" and "Double Dragon"

A trailer for a German-Chinese action film has appeared online "Out of Control" (Out of Control) by the director's duo Axel Sand (TV series “Special Forces Cobra”) and Richard Lean. Wrote the script for the film Andreas Heckman, who had already worked with Sand on Cobra. Filming took place thanks to film production companies Dreams Of Dragons Pictures (China) and Action Concept (Germany). The latter specializes in filming action-packed and adventure films.

Synopsis: When actress and martial arts guru Lucy Lin arrives for a work visit to the Berlin Film Festival, she meets her ex-fiancé Tom Young. Of course, Young appears there for a reason. He is an Interpol agent pursuing notorious cybercriminal Bennett Kaiser, who plans to carry out a deadly attack using a certain virus on the day of the premiere of Lin's film.

Starring a Chinese woman Cecilia Chun (“Shaolin Soccer”) and South Korean actor Choi Seung-hyun, also known as TOP, which became popular after the spy action movie "Graduate" (2013) director Park Hong Soo. The rest of the cast lit up: Michael Trevino (TV series "The Vampire Diaries"), David Cheung ("Hooligans 3"), Marko Liric (“Grand Budapest Hotel”) and others.

Perhaps the filmmakers are planning to launch a franchise "Out of Control". This is hinted at by the film’s separate subtitle – The Phantom Drive.

The exact release date of the film is not yet known. However, the first country in which the film will be released will be China. And this should happen in 2016. Then it will be the turn of the world premiere.

In addition to the trailer, the creators were generous with the future film, which clearly shows that when filming, the filmmakers gave preference to live stunts, which is good news.

Not without the release of a trailer for another Chinese gangster film with rollicking action. This is what an action movie became "Rules of the game" (The Game Changer) directed by Gao Xixi, who previously specialized mainly in television series.

"Rules of the game" will tell about the gangster wars that unfolded in the 30s in Shanghai. By the way, the film is based on an old Chinese series "Gang", which in turn was based on the plot of the cult "The Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola.

The cast of the upcoming action movie includes: Peter Ho ("Monkey King") Edison Huang ("Railroad Tigers"), Coley Nazha (“Police Story 2013”) and others.

The creators promise to send the film to Chinese distribution this year. In the meantime, we are waiting for specific dates, let's look at the trailer, which demonstrates a very good action set-up.

We couldn't ignore the trailer for the independent project. "Double Dragon" (Double Dragon), which returns us to a forgotten (and thank God!) genre "bruceploitation", - films that mercilessly exploited the image of the legendary Bruce Lee after his death. This seemingly very commercial phenomenon has become a separate genre of Hong Kong cinema, thanks to actors such as Dragon Li, Bruce Lai и Bruce Le in the 70s and 80s of the last century.

There are no details of the film's plot yet, but the trailer shows that the image of Bruce Lee will not only appear on the screen, but will also actively give everyone away in the signature yellow suit from the film "Game of Death".

The main roles went to Liu Bo ("Emperor and Assassin") and Bai Jie (“I can’t tell you.”) The latter is also the director of the film.

Chinese "Double Dragon" Bai Jie has no relation to the arcade game of the same name.

The film's release on online services is planned for the second half of 2016. Interestingly, this film is the second project about Bruce Lee planned for release this year. The first is the film "Birth of the Dragon".
