"Fubar" looks somehow cheap. Moreover, not even in terms of the picture, but in terms of the fact that it feels like a passable teenage series. Like the ones you watched on TV when you were a kid. Something like that... The script, the staging, or something.
I watched a couple of episodes, but somehow I don’t really want to watch any more.
Schwartz is shown as still cheerful, but this is exactly what a grandfather is. His daughter is strong, independent, not like everyone else, and being a spy, she can do everything she doesn’t do in front of her daddy: swear, fight, don’t stand behind the stove, etc. Moreover, this is not even feminism, but just such a character. In general, of course, many will watch it because Schwartz, but you shouldn’t expect anything from him.
