Since we live in a time of remakes and sequels, it is not surprising that Japanese thrash metal keeps up with the trends. The third film in the series was recently announced "Iron Girl", and now the cult niche action movie has received a sequel "Machine Gun Girl" (2008)

New film called "Rise of the Machine Gun Girls" (Rise Of The Machine Girls) directed Yuki Kobayashi, who had not previously been seen at the helm of such films, released a crime thriller "Kamikaze Cowboy" ("2015) and a crime comedy "Death Sentence for Everyone" (2017)

"Uprising" tells the story of a girl named Ami, who loses her arm after being the victim of a surprise police raid on a warehouse where human organs are being trafficked for the black market. But Ami did not give up and, armed with the latest gun, penetrates the criminal network for the purpose of revenge. But she is horrified when she realizes that she must fight against a transformed cyborg assassin who was once her sister Yossi.

The main roles were played by Himena Tsukimiya (TV series "From now on you are hostage") and Hanakage Kanon ("Devil Covered with Scars"). Also in the cast is a Japanese action film actor So Sakaguchi (“Confrontation”, “Rebirth”), who played with both girls in the recently released film "Red Blade". By the way, Himena is a member of Taka's stunt team."Zero".

The film was released straight to DVD July 6, 2019. The trailer should only be watched by prepared people who have experienced the films, like "Ninja Monster" or "Dangerous Dolls".

A full-fledged trailer for the new film of the classic Japanese cinema has appeared online Takashi Miike ("13 Assassins", "Blade of the Immortal") entitled "First love" (First Love).

The film was shot with joint Japanese-British money for the script. Masa Nakamura, with whom Miike has been working for a long time (Andromedia, Explosive Love, Sukiyaki Western Django).

The film is about a young boxer Reo, who is living his last days due to a terrible diagnosis. But the young man's life changes radically when he meets a drug addict and call girl, Monica, who is in debt to several scoundrels. Now Reo and Monica need to try to survive until the morning, escaping from the Chinese killer, the Yakuza and the unclean policeman.

The on-screen duet was made up of a young actor Shota Sometani (“Samurai Marathon”) and debutante Sakurako Konishi. The rest of the cast includes: Nao Omori ("Ichi the Killer"), Masataka Kubota ("Tokyo Ghoul"), singer Becky and others.

After visiting film festivals, Miike's new project has finally found a premiere date - 27 September 2019 years.

The trailer for the upcoming samurai action film has finally appeared. "Crazy Musashi" (Crazy Musashi) from bosom friends Taka Sakaguchi и Yuji Shimomura.

We have already told about this project, previously called "Blood of Wolves", the script for which was written by a famous Japanese filmmaker Sion Sono. Shimomura took this long-term construction project into his own hands and, with the help of money raised on the crowdfunding site, completed post-production and filmed several new scenes, and the producer Takayuki Ota will "distribute" the film through its streaming network WiiBER.

Nothing much is still known about the plot of the film. The press release only says that this samurai action film has a pseudo-documentary style of filming, focusing on only one actor - Taka. He played the role of Miyamoto Musashi on the screen, who spends the main time fighting for his life with 558 envoys of Yoshioka Ishimon.

The creators promise to release the film before the end of 2019, but there is still no exact online release date. But there is a teaser "Crazy Musashi".
