One of these is an independent project called "The brave have no fear" (The Brave has No Fears).
The film was shot by the director back in 2014 Ken Yip (“Kung Fu Player”, “Fight for Glory”), and Chan acted not only in the leading role, but also as the director of the fight choreography. However, the kung fu action movie lay in storage for several years and only now it was able to be sold for online release.
The film is about the folk hero Guo Zhendong, who since childhood was determined to defend his country, but saw only weaknesses in traditional wushu. In order to resist the scoundrels and evil spirits who are trying to master the secrets of the southern school of martial arts, Zhendong begins to study a hard form of kung fu called "King Kong Walk".
Apart from the Danny Chan ("Shaoyin Football") took part in the film Jin Song ("For the first time in history"), Mok May-Lam ("The Princess and the 7 Kung Fu Masters") and Pierre Ngo ("Time Raiders").

Another film in today’s selection is also “not the first fresh,” but it is better known and expected by fans of Chinese kung fu films and specifically the director’s works Xu Haofen. We are talking about his long-term construction called "Hidden blade" (The Hidden Sword). The film has been playing at film festivals since September 2017. And finally the date for the theatrical premiere has been announced.
As always in his works ("Identity of the Sword", "Archer Judge", "Teacher") Haofeng based the script on his own historical novel.
Synopsis: In 1933, Chinese soldiers led by officer Shen Feixu repelled an attack by Japanese soldiers on the Great Wall with only their swords. It's all because of Shen's mysterious and, as they say, magical sword. But since then, the famous officer disappeared, and in his place stood an aggressive impostor who seduced Feixu’s widow. Together they steal a secret sword technique from Shen's teacher, Master Kong, and use it to keep a small settlement in despotism. The grandson of Master Kong named Dinya stands in their way.
The film's ensemble cast consists of: Xu Qing ("24 hours to live"), Zhang Aoyue ("Teacher"), Jesse Lee ("Destination Port") and the legend of Chinese combat cinema Chen Kuantai ("Executioners from Shaolin").

The film's synopsis is quite vague. The plot tells the story of a former boxer who has long been on the sidelines of life. But everything changes when he meets a girl who received the heart of his recently deceased brother. From here begins a new chapter in the life of the main character.
The leading role went to the famous Chinese musician and singer to Jan Kuhn (“Deadly Hostage”), accompanied by the actress Xia Zingtong (“The Monkey King: The Legend Begins”) and actor Yu Ailei ("Troublemaker").
What's interesting is the cast of hand-to-hand action coordinators in the film.
