Trailers for the films "Special Forces: Under Siege", "Armed Response" and "Interstellar Civil War"

American director Tony Giglio may be known to visitors to our site for his work on the 2005 action film "Chaos" starring Jason Statham and action movie "Evacuation" 2013, starring John Foo, Vinnie Jones and Danny Glover. Giglio's new work is also an action film and is called "Special Forces: Under Siege" (SWAT: Under Siege).

We are interested in this film, first of all, because of the participation in it of a movie fighter we know well Michael Jai White, who got one of the main roles.

White plays a mysterious prisoner named Scorpio, who is accidentally found by a special forces team led by Agent Travis (Sam Jaeger) as part of an operation to eliminate international terrorists. However, it soon becomes clear that Scorpio is a black ops specialist working for the US government. Of course, the people concerned cannot allow the prisoner to remain in the hands of law enforcement, and they dispatch a small army to besiege the police station where Agent Travis's squad and Scorpio himself are located.

Besides Michael Jai White (trilogy “Never Give Up”), the film featured: Sam Jaeger (“Lucky number Slevin”), Adrianne Palicki ("John Wick") Olivia Cheng (TV series “Marco Polo”) and others.

The company distributes the film on DVD and Digital HD Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The release of "Special Forces" is scheduled for 1 August 2017 year. In the meantime, we suggest watching the trailer for the action movie.

The next film that we would like to tell you about is the fruit of the joint efforts of the film company WWE Studios and director John Stockwell, which was noted for such action films as "Bloody revenge" (2013) with Gina Carano, "Countdown" with WWE star Dolph Ziggler and last year's remake "Kickboxer".

Stockwell's new film is called "Armed Response" (Armed Response). Previously we have already wrote about this film, however, then it had a working title "Temple". However, we are interested in the participation of a 90s action hero in the project Wesley Snipes (Blade trilogy), who plays one of the main roles in the film.

The plot of the film tells the story of a special forces team that arrives at a secret high-tech military facility in order to find out where the team of soldiers assigned to guard this facility has disappeared. The facility, called the Temple, is a high-tech building for interrogating high-level prisoners, where everything is run by artificial intelligence. Soon the soldiers learn that their predecessors were brutally killed, and there is only one survivor in the Temple - a certain terrorist who may know what happened to the military at this facility.

In addition to Snipes, the film stars: Anne Heche ("Crazy Card") Dave Annable (TV series "Brothers and Sisters"), WWE star Seth Rollins (Colby Lopez) and others.

Company Saban Films has acquired the rights for a limited release of the film in North America, where "Armed Response" will go 4 August 2017 year. The film will appear on VoD on the same day. Trailer included.

The next trailer in the collection belongs to a film by a cult B-movie director. Albert Pyun, which, despite serious illness, is still making B-movies. Pyun is considered a classic of cheap action and fantasy films. He is the director of such films as "Cyborg" (1989) with Jean-Claude Van Damme, "Kickboxer 2" (1990) and "Kickboxer 4" (1994) with Sasha Mitchell, "Cool trunks" (1997) with Christopher Lambert, as well as a cyberpunk franchise "Nemesis".

Pyun's new film has a title "Interstellar Civil War" (Interstellar Civil War), but previously the film had the working title "Galaxy Rangers and the Cyborg Witch of Endor". Despite the fact that the genre of the film is a kind of space opera, there is also a place for hand-to-hand combat, as is often the case in Pyun’s films.

Synopsis: An elite team of Galaxy Rangers from the Interstellar Empire searches the ruins of the planet Endor, looking for a certain artifact for a cyborg witch named Leah C6. With the help of the artifact, space commandos must prevent a rebel uprising that has begun to take over planet after planet of the Interstellar Empire.

Albert Pyun himself speaks of his film as a kind of tribute to the cult science fiction film "Dune" David Lynch, as well as the works of surrealist visionaries Alejandro Jodorowsky and Terrence Malick.

The following took part in the film: Brad Thornton (“Kickboxer 4: Aggressor”), Ellie Church ("Time to kill"), Paul Gunn (TV series “Tamerlane”) and other actors.

The film went to various film festivals 17 March 2017 year, however, the film has not yet been released. But the creators assure that Interstellar Civil War will be available to the masses before the end of this year. It seems that Pyun promised the same in the case of his other long-term construction project - Cyborg Nemesis: The Dark Rift.

Just yesterday I watched this “Special Forces: Under Siege”. Frankly a weak action movie and M.J. White is very useless in it. This is partly the director’s fault, but Michael himself has become very heavy. Where they used to say, he got heavy, I was still fine, but here he’s definitely heavy and clumsy.

Why they make such frankly bad films is unclear, I wouldn’t say that he got heavier, on the contrary, he lost his muscles, he used to have huge biceps, but in this film he doesn’t.

        Dave,

Maybe he’s lazy, but after all, he already has a career, so you don’t have to strain yourself.

Apparently yes, he no longer wants to strain himself, anyway, all fans of action films know him.
