The Cambodian film industry suddenly delighted the action film community with trailers for a comedy action film called "Jail break" (Jailbreak) director Jimmy Henderson, which was previously noted for its dramatic action "Hauman" (2015) and horror fantasy "Forest Whisper" (2016). It is also worth saying that Henderson is a professional cinematographer, and has worked on other projects in this capacity.
The plot will unfold around a tactical squad that is forced to go to a prison on the island of Koh Kla, where the most frostbitten criminals are kept in order to escort the crime boss and at the same time intercept information about the most dangerous gang, Madame Butterfly. But everything, of course, does not go as smoothly as planned.
Manufacturing companies Puprom Entertainment и Kongchak Pictures We tried to make a real hit with serious funding and an international cast, which includes stuntmen, martial artists, professional fighters and prominent representatives of the national martial art of Cambodia, bokator: Jean-Paul Ly ("The Sword of King Arthur") Lauren Plancel (series “In the Desert of Death”), Savin Phillip ("Hauman") Dara Ours ("Hauman"), veteran bokator and instructor Tara V, and also a fighter in the women's MMA league Tarot Sam. The main negative role was played by a former porn actress Selina Tran (series “Military Chronicle”).

Foreign sources have already dubbed “Prison Break” the Cambodian “Raid”. Well, we are waiting and will definitely watch the picture. Fortunately, the premiere is very soon - 31th of January 2017
The following trailer comes to us from the Chinese film industry and presents a kung fu comedy "Romantic Warrior" (Romantic Warrior), where one of the main roles went to Danny Chan, who is known to visitors to our site mainly as an actor who portrayed the great Bruce Lee (series "The Legend of Bruce Lee", Stephen Chow's hit "Shaolin Football" and Wilson Yip's hit "Ip Man 3").
There is no official synopsis for the upcoming film yet, but judging by the trailer and the title of the film, we are waiting for a romantic comedy in a historical setting and with elements of hand-to-hand combat.
The film's director is listed as Liu Siaton, and Danny Chan's company consists of: Steve Yu (“Chinese Zodiac”) and Su Dongmei ("Little Big Soldier")
There are no more details about the film, except for the premiere date - January 6 2017 years.

The next action-comedy comes (I mean, it will come) from South Korea. A movie called "False City" got my first trailer.
"Fabricated City" is a director's work Park Kwang-hyung, who had previously directed two films: a dramatic comedy "No comments" (2002) and a military comedy "Welcome to Dongmakol" (2005). After a long break, Kwang-hyun is back with an action-comedy.
There is already an official synopsis: in the real world, Kwon-yu is an unemployed loser, but in computer games he is a living legend and a real field commander. One day in a cafe, a guy finds a lost mobile phone, the owner of which asks him to return the phone for a reward. But only at the place of the agreed meeting, Kwon-yu is met not by a woman, but by detectives from the homicide department. The owner of the phone is raped and murdered, and our virtual hero is the perfect suspect to get a life sentence. It's time to remember your commanding skills, gather loyal supporters online and show this world who is the hero and who is the loser.
Famous Korean actors starred in the film: Chi Chang-wook (TV series "Empress Ki") Shim Eun-kyung ("Masquerade"), Oh John-se (“Hero”) and others.
Distribution company CJ Entertainment promises to release the film in theaters in February of this year, but so far there is no exact date for the film’s premiere. But there is a very intriguing trailer.

I watched "Fabricated City" - a thriller for once, which has problems with logic. Despite the small amount of action (and all the hand-to-hand combat, alas, was shown in the trailer), there is something in the film. At least I watched it to the end with some interest. There is a beginning for the second part, but I’m not sure that I want to see it if the action and hand-to-hand combat are not improved.
It's a pity...
Indonesian, and this Cambodian one would be very interesting to look at.
