Hong Kong fight choreographer Sam Wong (Aka Won Min-shin), who assisted the director John Chin in a sports drama production "Choi Li Fut" (2011), starring Wang Baoqiang, is preparing to release his own directorial project.

The crime thriller is called "On the Edge" (Man on the Edge) and filmed according to the script by the same Wong.

The plot revolves around a character named Lok, an undercover Hong Kong police officer who navigates a conspiracy between gangs and the police to investigate the truth behind drug trafficking.

The leading roles of this crime film starred the “cream” of Chinese cinema: Richie Ren ("Fabulous"), Simon Yam ("Ip Man") Alex Fung ("New Kung Fu Master") Patrick Tam ("Ip Man 3"), Danny Chan (the Ip Man franchise) and a classic of Hong Kong action cinema Sammo Hungg (“Project A”, “Dragons Forever”, “Ip Man 2”).

In Chinese rental "On the Edge" will go April 15 2022 years. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer.

Synopsis: An underground gang is thrown into disarray after the arrival of a mysterious man who sparks a conflict for an entirely new order.

"New order" will be released at home 7 June 2022 year.

Let's finish today's selection with a Vietnamese hand-to-hand action movie "Magnum 578" (578 Magnum) and it doesn’t look like cheaper crafts from the same Vietnamese Peter Pham.

The screenwriter and director are responsible for the film Dung Luong Dinh, which was previously noted only for drama "Father and son" (2017), who shot another version based on his own script "Hostages" (2007) with Liam Neeson or Vietnamese "Furies" (2019) with Veronica Ngo.

Synopsis: a truck driver and single father dotes on his little daughter and takes her with him on flights, but one day the girl is kidnapped by an unknown person and commits indecent acts on her. Trying to punish the scumbag, the angry father finds out that an influential criminal group is behind it.

The main role was played by a 40-year-old actor Alexander Nguyen (“At Gunpoint,” “Backdraft 2,” “Live”). Other roles: Hoang Phuc Nguyen (“Cholon Chinatown”), Hi Hien Nie (“Save Ralph”) and others.

A South Korean specialist is responsible for local action and fight choreography Oh Sae-yeon (not to be confused with the famous actress), who was a stunt coordinator on projects such as "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015) (Korean group), "Cooperation" (2017), Bollywood hits "Jungle" (2019) and "The battle" (2019)

"Magnum 578" appeared in the box office 25 March 2022 year and we are really looking forward to seeing the action movie with our own eyes.
