The Guillotines: injuries and scars on the set

Various types of injuries often occur on the set of action films. This fate did not spare the actors who played the main roles in the new film. Andrew Lau called "Guillotines" (The Guillotines).

If we start with the easiest ones, then, for example, Jing Boran scratched my hand bleeding on the door, Li Yuchun received burns from sparks while filming night scenes, and Shawn Yue fell off his horse several times and got bruises. Pu Ba Jia suffered a serious leg injury and was out of work for two weeks. U Huang Xiaomin Even before filming began, his leg was injured, but on the set, 750 kg (!) of explosives exploded behind him, and he didn’t even suspect it.

Funny case: Ethan Ruan according to the script he had to inflict Jin Bozhan a hard slap in the face, which, according to him, he had never done in his life. Naturally, it didn’t work out on the first take, and the slaps left red marks, blood and tears on the pretty face Jina, in the end there were several. It all ended with poultices made from boiled potatoes and the transfer of all the snacks from one hotel room to another (so as not to torment my conscience).

But it was precisely Ethan Ruan – in the “softest” place he has a scar from riding... But now he will have something to brag about to his fans, because scars, as they say, adorn a man. :D

Let me remind you that the film will premiere at the end of December this year.

Marsh shared his first impressions after watching “Guillotines”:

    - music support of standards
    - because of the 3D, the picture turned out to be too dark, and the 3D was of no use at all
    - the action movie was boring
    - the flying guillotines themselves flashed in the frame for no more than 5 minutes

    In general, another failure.

    Thank you, I corrected it.

    Li Yuchun is a girl.

No, it won't. RZA doesn't have a combat role.
If only everything was up to par, which I highly doubt. There is a general suspicion that they focused on stunts in the film rather than fighting. Those. There will be fights, but there will be less of them than the rest of the action (chases, etc.)
You give 3 years - 3 hours of film :-D

If only it weren't like this: Tony Jaa VS RZA. Final Round. Fight!..

I don't expect or hope, but I want :-D to get what I expected from OB3. But director Prachya: the direction will not be the same as in OB2&3, but that’s what I need. There was a little bit of this kind of direction in TYUG, just a little bit in Chocolate, but not in Kika.

    :-D
Doesn't net. I think. that this is his new style, because... Nattayat was not fully developed (IMHO, but OB4, if there is one, where Tony could show the style in full force, is far away), Tony mixed it with the “Elephant style” (muaykodchasarn”, roughly translated as “Elephant Boxing”), and others .with their own styles. All this will be in TYUG2. I think so.
I like what I see as style. I don’t think that in TYUG2 the situation with Crump will be repeated, as it was with Dan in the 3rd part (when he had to wave his arms under the soft Nattayut)

I remember you and I saw a similar “Cossack” not one month (or a year) ago. Slipping?

The anecdote relates more to previous manipulations with the scarf:

    - Dad, tell the elephants to run.
    - Wait, they're tired.
    - Well, dad, let the elephants run around some more.
    - You see how hard they breathe!
    - Well, dad, let the elephants run...
    - OK. Company! Gases! Run-oh march!

    I don't know such a joke :)
But what Tony shows is some kind of mixture of Kot Cho san (that’s what the elephant style is called), Nattayuta, kung fu, monkey style, and Cossack :)

Well, according to the rules, the Chinese write their surname before their given name. )))
And offtopic regarding The One Detective:

Thanks, fixed it. I didn't think it was so critical.

I would like to make a correction about Bozhan Jing. Jing is a surname, so she's in front. Probably Chinese translators are making this bad mistake again and misleading their readers. And I learned an interesting fact: Bozhan is 1/8 Russian. ))) And he’s also really cute, like those good boys from K-pop groups. Brrrrr, it’s already disgusting... They make me sick.

These are injuries, poor guys, what terrible injuries, one has an ass, another has legs, and the third has a cute face, they are unlucky.
