Having spent much of the past decade adapting"Fullmetal Alchemist"on the big screen, director Fumihiko Sori returned with a new project called "Hakkenden” (Hakkenden). Sorey is directing the film from a script he based on the novels Futaro Yamada (Hakkenden: The Legend of the Eight Dogs of the East) in the early eighties.

In Hakkenden we will be completely immersed in the creative and exciting world of the samurai. The film tells the story of a writer who spent 28 years writing 106 volumes of his heroic story, and the artist who helps him realize it.

Plays the main role Koji Yakusho (Battle of Sekigahara), who received the Best Actor award at the 76th Cannes Film Festival for his role in Wim Wenders' Perfect Days. And the role of the artist went to Seiyo Uchino (Fullmetal Alchemist: 2\3). Also in the cast are: Tao Tsuchiya, Hayato Isomura, Haru Kuroki, and Shinobu Terajima.

"Operation Black-Ops"

Hong Kong movie star Selina Jade - is not new to action films. She starred in "War of the Wolves 2"Jackie Woo, the Popular TV Series"Arrow” , and even "Triple threat” which brought together a whole klondike of action stars. Usually she plays roles that are not focused on action, but not this time. In the new film Billy Chuna "Secret Operation” (Operation Black-Ops) Jade acts as the head of an elite special forces.

Lately there have been too many films whose titles are repeated. This case is even more confusing. Firstly, there is already an action movie with exactly the same name, but with Tito Ortiz (former MMA fighter) in the title role, and secondly, the series “Black Ops”. Because it is unknown how the upcoming action movie will be localized. Also, nothing is known about its plot, but we know that in addition to Selina Jade, the film features Shawn Yue (Double castling) and Jiang Luxia (Wolf Pack).

The release is scheduled to take place on June 15, 2024 in Hong Kong.
