"Movie-Do" и "Moviestuff Berlin" started a fundraising campaign for their new project called "Roughtown". This is a short film that combines tragicomedy and hand-to-hand combat.
Plot:
Bachelorette Sabrina (Katya Wagner) is the perfect victim: shy, sweet, lonely, and her male colleagues take advantage of this. The only thing that can brighten up her “gray” evenings is the crime series “Roughtown” with the main character Rob Nelson (Ben Brown), a tough detective with heavy fists.
After serious emotional trauma, Sabrina is about to break down, but then Detective Rob Nelson suddenly appears in front of her and literally wipes the floor with those who treat her badly. She plunges headlong into these dreams, and, thinking that she is under the protection of her hero, she begins to deftly cope with life-threatening situations, ultimately revealing the hero in herself.
At the time of publication of the news, only 6000 € had been collected out of the planned 45 €. There are 49 days left until the end of the fundraiser.
