A martial arts drama film is set to premiere in Australia on June 7, 2024. Bren Foster "Life after the fight” (Life After Fighting).
AT "Life After Fighting” Bren Foster plays Alex Faulkner, a former fighter who now runs a martial arts school and fights to save the lives of the people he cares about most when several of his younger students are kidnapped by child traffickers.
Foster is simultaneously the director, screenwriter and main actor in this film. Previously on the show Scott Adkins "The Art of Action” , he was giving the world a behind-the-scenes look at the project just before production was set to begin in late 2022. In this interview, he shared his personal desire to use the film as a vehicle to raise awareness of the issue of child trafficking, as well as demonstrate, that compelling drama, characters, and action don't have to be mutually exclusive.
In addition to the main character, the film stars: Cassie Howarth, Luke Ford, Annabelle Stevenson, Jake Ryan, Masa Yamaguchi, Ethan Brown.
Foster also set the bar high among martial arts fans, saying that it put the fight scenes on par with The Raid. We can verify this in the promo:
