Danny Trejo, Gary Daniels, Damon Whitaker, Johnny Lee, Crystal V, Bai Ling, Tom “Tiny” Lister and others starred in a new action film with elements of mysticism called "The Lazurus Papers". Here's the official plot description from "Spotlight Pictures":
Deep in the jungles of Southeast Asia, the bloodthirsty mercenary Sebastian hunts people for the thrill of his life and sells his victims into slavery. In one of the operations, he kills the peace-loving local shaman Arun and his family. As soon as he leaves with his loot, Arun dies...only to one day come back to life again. What happened to Arun may be a gift for some, but for him it has become a curse - he cannot die. Full of despair and unable to live without his family, he commits suicide. After each attempt, he dies, only to be reborn the next morning. Trying to understand what is stopping him from dying, Arun must travel through the jungles and cities of Asia in search of a secret way to get rid of immortality.
The film was shot in Bangkok and Sungklaburi, Thailand. Production has completed and post-production is underway. The release should take place before the end of 2010.
