The organizers of the Terracotta festival announced in one of the articles in “Screen Power: The Jackie Chan Magazine” that Jackie Chan will be awarded the festival peace prize.
“Jackie is a screen legend; Off screen, he has made significant contributions to charity through both his Jackie Chan Foundation and his position as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador,” organizers said. “For this work, and for her strong call to stay out of war in her latest film, Little Big Soldier, we would like to honor and highlight Jackie's work.”
The award, which is a single piece of glass, was designed and created by Lin La, the festival's organizer.
This year the Terracotta festival will open with “Little Big Soldier”. In addition, the program will show 15 hand-picked feature films from the Far East. It will take place in London from May 6th to 9th.
