[MY KINGDOM PREMIERE INFORMATION ADDED]
World premiere of Chinese action film “Wu Xia” (formerly “Swordsman”) directed by Peter Chan will take place on May 13 at the 64th Cannes Film Festival.
The film is an adaptation of the 1967 Hong Kong action classic "One-Armed Swordsman". “Wu Xia” is the only Chinese-language film that will be shown at the festival.
Will visit Cannes on May 5th for promotional purposes Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro и Tang Wei.
Jimmy Wang Yu, star of the original film, played in the adaptation Chana cameo role. He will appear on the red carpet along with the actresses Li Xiaoran и Karoly Hui.
After recent films “Probably love” (Perhaps Love) and "Commanders" (The Warlords) this is the first attempt Peter Chan make a martial arts movie.
As previously reported, the director chose a completely different approach to the on-screen materialization of martial arts, combining scientific and medical elements in the fight choreography. Chan hopes that this project will become a new round of evolution in films of this genre.
Post-production continues to this day, with release set for this summer.

Thank you. )))
OK. Will you post posters then, please?
Ok, I didn't notice the letter. Everything fell into place. I'll update the information now.
Xenic, I misunderstood you. I thought Peter Chan was listed as the director of My Kingdom.
I couldn't find Da Wu Sheng/My Kingdom on the Cannes Festival website (festival-cannes.com). But Wu Xia is there. It will be shown outside the competition program.
I think I sent you a link. It says that the film will be shown on May 11 in Cannes. (Hooray!)
Well, yes, he is.
Why the only one?! And My Kingdom? He is also declared.
That’s how it was in the original news, I didn’t change it.
Isn't the director of My Kingdom Gao Xiao Song?
