First details appear previously announced Donnie Yen film in which he will participate. Originally an action film that produces Wilson Yip , was called "Misjudgement", but now on the same poster there is the inscription "The Prosecutor” .
The film will tell the story of a man who is accused of drug trafficking by a crime syndicate in order to protect the identity of the real criminal. Ian plays a defendant whose case is assigned to a new prosecutor who risks his career to uncover the truth.
Besides Donnie Yen, starred in the film Yu Kang, who was with him in "Wu Xia” (2011), "Flashpoint” (2007), "Big Brother” (2018), and "Special ID” (2013); and Julian Chun (Great master).
The film is directed by Mak Ho-Pon (Breakout Brothers). There's no release date, but there are some shots that look like they were stolen...but they are.
Reboot of The Running Man with Glen Powell
Paramount Studios announced that the rising star Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) will star in a new adaptation of the novel Stephen King "The Running Man". Edgar Wright (Baby Driver) signed on to direct the project.
The novel is set in 2025 in America, where a totalitarian regime uses violent game shows to pacify the disenfranchised masses. One desperate man, needing money for his sick daughter, joins the world's most popular show, The Running Man, where teams of assassins hunt down the contestants. The longer a person survives, the more money he earns. But as the game show's producers and killers discover, this desperate man will break all the rules and reveal the show's dark secrets.
For “young viewers”: the first adaptation was made back in 1987, it starred an action movie legend Arnold Schwarzenegger.
