The original 1989 film follows cop Jack Kane (Dolph Lundgren), who loses his partner during a shootout with drug dealers. Subsequently, Kane begins to investigate a series of strange deaths that lead him to an alien criminal (Matthias Hughes).
Hughes first mentioned the sequel to Angel of Darkness in an interview. Then Matthias said that he and his wife wrote a script several years ago, and they still plan to bring this project to completion. Nevsky as a producer is okay. All his films are released on the big screen. Only the thought of Nevsky as the main character is frightening. And the director.
In my opinion, Nevsky has not yet spoiled us with science fiction. It would be a shame to lose such a good original. I hope Lundgren will not join Monsieur Alexander's growing troupe by leaps and bounds
