The Tokyo Film Festival, which will be held from October 23 to 31, 2010, will honor the 70th anniversary of his birth Bruce Lee, showing a selection of films with the common title “Bruce Lee to the Future”.
Four films have been announced so far. This “Enter the Dragon” и “Game of Death” with Bruce Lee, with the latest action film being a rare version that was distributed in 1978 only on the territory of Japan. The list also includes a modern, but with a retro style, action movie "Gallants" by Derek Kwok and Clement Cheng and the 2008 film “The Legend is Alive”, directed by American-Vietnamese director Lu Yu Huynh. The names of the remaining festival participants will be announced in the next few weeks.
Let me remind you that earlier the management of the Venice Film Festival announced that they would honor the memory of Bruce Lee action movie “Fist of Legend: The Return of Chen Zhen” с Donnie Yen in the title role, which will be shown outside the competition program.
