A trailer for an independent action film has appeared online "The Last Murder" (Final Kill) director Justina Lee (“Any bullet will do.”)

Мы already wrote about this project (previously it was called "Defender"), in which the creators promised to bring back the spirit of the adventurous action films of the 80s. The director (who is also the screenwriter) was inspired by such classic films as "Deadly weapon", "Midnight Run" и "48 hours".

Plot: Mickey is an aging mercenary who dreams of retiring. However, he agrees to his latest assignment - to protect a married couple hiding in Central America from a ruthless crime family. Mickey travels to a quiet Costa Rican village and learns that his mission is not really so obvious.

Played the main role in the film Ed Morrone (TV series “White Collar”), the rest of the cast includes: Randy Couture (The Expendables trilogy), James Russo ("Donnie Brasco") Danny Trejo (dulogy “Machete”), Billy Zane ("Phantom"), James P. Bennett ("Finish them all") Lauren Francesca ("Demon Hungters") Will Rothaar (“Alien Invasion”) and others.

The action film has appeared in limited rental and Video-on-Demand services 6 March 2020 year.

The second film in today's selection comes from Canada and is called "Transition: Avoiding the Darkness" (Transference: Escape The Dark).

An actor is at the director's helm Matthew Nienaber ("Death on Stage") This is not Matthew's first experience as a director. Before that he directed an action film "Day of Extraction" (2014)

Synopsis: 12-year-old boy Joshua discovers that he has otherworldly powers when his father leaves him and his twin sister. Over the years, Joshua suppresses his gift, but it blossoms brightly in his sister, after which the guy decides to send her to a mental hospital. Twenty years later, Joshua suffers from his decision, leading a life as an underground tournament fighter. But one day he finds out that a strange man is trying to kill his sister Emma. This completely changes their lives, because now the brother and sister have to save the world from dark forces.

The following took part in the film: Jeremy Nienaber ("Best Friend from Heaven") Tony Nash (“Force Majeure”), Ethan Mitchell (“Day of Extraction”), debutante Melissa Joy Borger and himself Matthew Nienaber.

"Transition" screened at the Los Angeles Fantastic Film Festival March 6, and releases on VoD and Blu-ray services are planned for March 10 and March 24, 2020 respectively.

A martial arts practitioner, stuntman, screenwriter and director presented his new project Vincent Soberano ("Trigonal: The Fight for Justice"). We are talking about a mystical hand-to-hand action movie "Circle of Bones" (Circle Of Bones).

The film, like Vincent's other projects, was filmed in the Philippines.

The story revolves around police detective Karen Wu, who, while investigating a human trafficking case, stumbles upon a creepy cult that sacrifices people. Lim finds a miraculously surviving witness and learns about a former FBI agent who was already investigating the case. He is considered a crazy person who believes that demonic forces are penetrating our world with the aim of destroying it.

The main role in the film was played by a Wushu champion, stuntwoman and actress. Sarah Chang, who has already worked with Soberano on projects such as "We are war", "Trigonal: The Fight for Justice" и "Blood Hungters: Rise of the Hybrids". Her company consists of: Ian Ignazio (“Test purchase”), Marella Torre ("Today we will not die"), Geoffrey Kison (“Miracle in Cell No. 7”), Osric Chau (TV series “Supernatural”) and himself Vincent Soberano.

It is not yet known when it will be released "Circle of Bones", because Vincent often takes his films to various film festivals. But you can already enjoy the trailer, if of course you like mystical action films.
