Let's not move away from Bollywood, because next year we will have many interesting projects from there. One of these is the patriotic historical epic called "Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi" (Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi).

A film about the folk heroine Manikarnika was directed by a director. Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, familiar from Bollywood action films "Great Teacher" (2012) and "Gabbar is back" (2015), as well as the historical epic "Satakarni, son of Gautami" (2017). The film script belongs to Prasunu Joshi ("The color of saffron") and Vijayendra Prasad, who is known for scripts for such epics as "Baahubali: Birth of a Legend" и "Baahubali: The End".

The upcoming epic will focus on the Manikarnika woman, who gave a serious rebuff to the British colonial invaders.

The main role was played by a famous Indian actress Kangana Ranaout (“Policeman”, “Rangoon”), and she was accompanied by: Edward Sonnenblick ("Foreigner"), Danny Denzongpa ("Robot"), Atul Kulkarni (“The color of saffron”) and others.

The fight choreography in the film was done by a familiar Polish martial artist David Jatarski.

The film's premiere is scheduled for January 25 2019 years. The trailer hints at something extremely serious.

We would like to finish today’s selection with another project from Bollywood. This time the genre of the film is an adventure "pirate" action movie and is called "Gang of Hindustan" (Thugs Of Hindostan).

But there are heroes who do not agree with the imposed order, and the most famous of them is the leader of the sea robbers Azaad, who puts freedom above all else. To deal with this threat to imperial stability, the British commander hires a small-time local bandit, an unscrupulous scoundrel willing to do anything for money. He must infiltrate the gang and kill Azaad.

The main role in the film was played by the cult actor of Indian cinema. Amitabah Bachchan (“Never Say Goodbye”, “Love and Betrayal”), and the rest of the cast is filled with: Amir Khan ("Dangal"), Katrina Kaif ("Bikers 3"), Fatima Shana Shaikh ("Dangal"), Ronit Roy (“Student of the Year”) and others.

The film's action designer and stunt coordinator is an American martial artist Lee Whitaker, and among the stuntmen we know in the film are involved Brahim Achabbake, Tony Sre и Ian Williamson.
