To be honest, I didn’t remember. A few minutes of Googling led to at least one torrent and at least one online viewing. In a couple of other places there were downloads for SMS or something similar (of course, I didn’t bother) and one fake - the same remake of “American Ninja”.

Tell me where you found the commando?

The film is weak. Jamval is cool and even the stunts are well choreographed (not Tony Jaa or Jackie Chan), but the camera work at the same time resembles an amateur one. Well, there's a shaky camera and bad angles, that's all. Therefore, I didn’t make much of an impression. No need to watch.
The film itself... I don’t know, I watched it without translation, and I’m not interested in Indian films, so I wasted it from fight to fight, but the overall impression is also the same - an amateur performance. If I watch the same “The Expendables”, “Scott Pilgrim” or “Game of Thrones” in the original to enjoy the nuances of the acting, so that God forbid they ruin the intonation with dubbing, then it’s simply not necessary to understand what is happening. Verdict: sorry for wasting your time.

While I was searching, I came across the Indian remake of American Ninja. Not only did he laugh, but he actually laughed like crazy.

The trouble with Indians is that they mainly work for the Asian market. Therefore, the overall result is some kind of ridiculous nonsense. I'm talking about Bollywood.
In South India, things are a little different in terms of action. Sometimes they do such tricks, come and go, but sometimes they do it an order of magnitude higher than Bollywood.
There are good actors in Mumbai, and if you give them fights, then the stunts can be performed by great ones. The same Akshay Kumar in the past did a lot of good things in films. If you train Hrithik Roshan, he will fight no worse than Jamwal. Although the same Hrithik trained with Hong Kong stuntmen before filming KRRISH, but the filming turned out to be somewhat mediocre. But physically he is good and moves wonderfully.
I noticed Dzhamvala back in the SPECIAL FORCE, where he spoke against John Abraham.
    Promising guy!!!
In 2013, "Thuppakki Hindi Remake" was announced with Akshay Kumar and Vidyut Jamwal. I think that Bollywood will definitely prepare something spicy for us.

This is roughly what I wanted to say. True, I only watched Indian action films with my seventh sense and the Dzhekichan myth. If I don’t forget (and most likely, if they remind you on this site), I’ll also watch Commando Man-Army. But I’m preparing myself to be disappointed in advance.

Myth is +1. Until now, despite all the desire, I don’t have enough patience to finish watching it. And the penultimate Batman too... ;)

PS Does anyone have a video of Kumar's fight with Jamwal?

    Morten - my applause :)
I'll watch the movie, but I won't wait. As experience suggests: you need to be on your guard with Chinese-Thai, and even more so with Indian militants :)

There is such a breed of films - the action shown in the trailer is really all the action that will be present in the film. That is, the film is an hour and a half long, and there is only 3 minutes of action in it, which is what the trailer consists of. How many times have I been fooled by the beautiful cover and the mesmerizing trailer. I hope this film will not fall into this category, and we will enjoy fascinating fights, a non-boring plot and strong acting.

It's a pretty good trailer. I'll have to check out the movie.

I'm definitely confused) Indian actor, training in Georgia, this is great and very intriguing, of course =) BUT how did he get there???? Is there any information about the fight director? As far as I understand, the film will be released straight to DVD? Or will it be shown somewhere on a big screen, maybe someone knows?

He, as far as I understand, is a very principled person. We play a military man - we train in suitable conditions, in the forest on the road. The Choreographer was not mentioned anywhere, as I understand it, it’s on his shoulders.

Regarding Bilan, Jamval used to work in the modeling business, is a fitness fanatic and gymnast (national champion, by the way), and also studied kung fu. Likes to mix gymnastics, stunts and BI with friends. He trains 6 hours a day, 3 hours every morning and evening.
I seriously broke my legs several times and received other injuries, but everything healed quickly.

And before he was a “fat belly.” :)

Something is fishy here. Where are the songs and dances? o_o

The Indians realized that you can’t lure anyone with dancing, the 21st century is here, they need to develop somehow)) The trailer is decent, everything is on the level. The main character is just a pumped-up Indian Bilan, no matter what. And climbing on the adversary before slamming him on the floor is five.

What kind of martial art will be shown here?

Here's what we found out: the film is a mixture of two styles - kalaripayattu (studied from the age of 3) and jiu-jitsu. This is his first film without stunt doubles, since he couldn’t find anyone suitable for the hand-to-hand scenes. Before filming, he underwent 3 weeks of training at a special military training base in Georgia.

Totally cool! :) But of course there aren’t enough songs and dances... ;) It’s a pity that our translators can’t get around to “The 7th Sense”, I’m really looking forward to it. :(

I’m reviewing the trailer for the third time) I felt such euphoria only when I watched the Matrix 2 trailer for the first time, the special effects, the battles were all top notch!!!
    Who is the director?

The trailer, whispers (borrow, but go to the cinema to see such a film =) When is the release scheduled?
The last moment when a “fighter” is spinning around the guard, and then hits him on the floor, this is really new! This has never happened in action scenes before. I’m really looking forward to the film in the trailer, everything is smooth and okay, a very cool trailer! When is this masterpiece coming out?
Who is the director of the fight scenes here? Is he the only one? What kind of martial art will be shown here?

Very interesting trailer! The Indians certainly made me happy!

They will be in the full film.

    From my LJ:

For the last eleven years I have not believed in Russian cinema, yes. The last time I watched Indian cinema was when I was a child. But then I came across the trailer for the film “The Seventh Sense”. An action thriller about genetic experiments and Prince Bodhidharma. The main bad guy is Johnny Tri Nguyen (a very cool Vietnamese movie fighter), the choreography was done by Thai stuntmen who had a hand in “Sanctuary”, the second “Ong Bak”. And the main character performed well. The special effects are rapidly approaching Hollywood, the spirit of the film is brutal to the point of ugliness - murders under hypnosis, overturned cars, deadly viruses, Nguyen walks through the crowd like a knife through meat.
Found it online with English subtitles. I looked.

Well, you know what happened in the end.
