By the way, the full title of the film is Bụi Đời Chợ Lớn.

PS It becomes clear why the word “dust” is in the title. According to the description on Vietnamese sites, the showdown begins due to the fact that one of the main characters (a gray-haired guy) decided to push stuff in the market. Plus there will be a lot of melodrama and snot. Not good.

It's not always possible to understand something from a trailer. But the style is very similar to Nguyen’s last film “Bay Rong”, and I would like him and his comrades to move forward. In this sense, the situation is of course sad, either there was not enough imagination, or taste, or money, or they want to consciously dig in this direction. But I'm looking forward to this release anyway, because for me personally, Nguyen is one of the most interesting characters in this field, and he attracts my attention more than most. From the small parts of the fights in the trailer you can say that there is some kind of superficiality, I agree, but Nguyen never suffered from a lack of drive and dynamics, and from the point of view of acting he is convincing, I think when we watch the full film, an opinion may change both for the better and for the worse. And I would like, of course, for the fights to be part of a good film, and not on their own and for themselves. The same "Rebel" they did was a very worthy work.

and in my opinion, excellent staging of fights! and Nguyen will be revealed, and by the way, they work very well with knives

but you don’t need to talk about the Legend - you’ll look there now - there’s nothing at all, just a flickering
Donnie, of course, has no competition

Well, that's what I said, it's lame. But the power is felt. And Donnie's hand too. And in the widescreen version it looks more or less. The flickering doesn't hurt the eyes that much.
It all depends on the choreographer. And they can reveal Nguyen only with the help of choreography. Simple fights will ensure the film fails. And the film will fail anyway. I see.
And there is hardly anyone better than Panna on this continent. I'm not taking Hong Kong into account. Although even there now the production doesn’t particularly shine.
If you remember Donny, then it will be interesting to look at his new modern creation. Oh how interesting!

Cabin you say? I do not believe!
The blows in this very wheelhouse are very weak. There is no feeling of drive and fighting energy! Still not a comedy with Jackie.
Although take the same Jackie. Let's remember - Crime Story, Lightning Strike! Those were contractions!
In The Legend of the Wolf, what a crowd was fighting with Donnie Yen. Wow! It’s crude, of course, but in some fragments even God must have shuddered from the harshness of the blows and the sharpness of the blades!
And here is another "empty" one. Again labor camps, gangs and other gloom.
Just as ONG BAK was the best of its kind with TOM YUM GONG, it remains so.
There is a pole - beautiful girls! But the creators of this film clearly don’t know what to do with them.

The same movie again. What they were doing there for 3,5 years is completely unclear.
