Charlie Nguyen is set to direct Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2

Vietnamese media report that work on a new comedy will be completed after completion. "Let Hoi Decide", director Charlie Nguyen, brother of a film actor and stuntman Johnny Nguyen, flew to New Zealand, where he will take on the duties of director on the sequel to the Oscar-winning action film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Initially Yuen Wuping had to deal not only with filming the film, but also with staging fights, and Nguyen - to help him in the initial stages of production, but now it turned out that the choreography of the fights is entirely entrusted to Nguyen, while the director's chair remained for Yuenem.

Starring Michelle Yeoh, Donnie Yen и Nicholas Tse. The names of other cast members have not yet been officially announced.

UPDATE: Charlie Nguyen wrote on Facebook that he was looking for filming locations in Auckland and specified that he would work in the film as a co-producer and director of the second cast of the film crew.

    According to Bay Logan, Jason Scott Lee will star in the second part.

    I think that the main thing here should be the screenwriter, and not the fight director. 2 hours of fighting without a meaningful plot is unlikely to please. For my part, I see Chin Siu Tung as an ideal director in this genre.

    I hope Nicholas won’t spoil the film with his martial arts skills :) And if Corey Yuen is cast as the fight director and he choreographs something like in “Hero,” it will be absolutely beautiful! )
