The villain and murderer Feng is prowling around Hong Kong and dealing with the best martial arts experts using his secret weapon called the “moon shadow”. This is his “calling card”. Xia, a kung fu master convicted of murder, learns of this and, in exchange for his freedom, offers to help the police find the killer. Having traced, thanks to Xia, the chronology of deaths, the police learn that the murderer chooses his victims depending on their level of skill in each style.
When Xia disappears after a fight with Feng, the police begin to suspect the worst: that Xia and Feng are accomplices, and Feng was just a bait to ensure Xia's path to freedom. But in fact, Xia returned to Foshan in order to find out more about the mysterious “moon shadow”. There he reveals the identity of the killer and his motives: he follows the ancient code of martial arts, according to which you must deal with all competitors who are weaker than you. Despite everything, Xia refuses to accept Feng's challenge until he threatens the life of his lover. Only then does Xia realize that in order to maintain the code, she will have to break its rules.

It’s unclear why there was a discussion about something that doesn’t exist yet, a normal trailer will appear and everything will more or less become clear. One hell everyone is waiting for fights, not what Donnie looks like and how he is doing. I think the more interesting fact is that at 50 years old he is in excellent physical shape (or so he pretends to be :)).
Respecting all those who spoke, I propose to look at the topic from the other side: after all, it’s not just about Donny. By analogy, “Tiger Claw” is the same charismatic kung fu killer Bolo, a bunch of movie fighters, masters of combat and in general fighting games for the sake of business and for no reason. Maybe in this case something harmonious will turn out? As for the “comet”, honestly, I wasn’t pleased either, but regarding the “special personality” - it’s nothing at all (however, this is my opinion)

I partially agree with the above. But...I want to believe...I really want to.
By the way, I rewatched THE GREAT MASTERS and understood why I have two feelings.
Firstly, the duration is God knows how long, and secondly, these Chinese old men are shown a lot of screen time. And now you want to look at them?
If the film had been shortened by 40 minutes it would have been much more interesting.
The teaser should interest the viewer, and not arouse a lot of suspicion. =D So far there is nothing good except the name Donny.
About the lighting and filming - on the one hand I agree, on the other hand I remember the Great Masters, where the filming and lighting seemed to be cool too, but then you realize that “there is a lot of show-off, but little use”
The mania of Donny's character is one smile. Not enough. =)

Well, this is just a teaser. And I liked it! Donny is such a maniac! The lighting and photography are absolutely awesome! There are two cameramen in the film and editor Cheng Ka Fai + choreographer Donny and some other “spare head”.
Still, I will bet on this movie!

I wouldn't say he's falling into a hole whose depth is hard to measure, but things are looking very, very bad for him. I doubt that he is able to surprise us with anything.

It’s difficult to say something, but these slow-motion close-ups of punches, fists all over the screen... I doubt that there will be anything much different in quality than some thread of Chen Zhen or a Special Person. Donnie has been repeating himself a lot in his latest projects.
