Teaser for the action movie Close Range

After rescuing his niece from the clutches of a powerful cartel, Colton Macready (Adkins) enters a merciless battle to save members of his own family who have now become targets for criminals. His farm, located in the provincial outback, is besieged by revenge-seeking cartel mercenaries, who have taken with them a corrupt local sheriff and a team of assistants who will ensure that help will not come to Macready in the near future. A non-stop and methodical assault on the farm begins, and Colton, in order to protect his loved ones and save himself, will have to go through this “marathon of survival” to the end.

Surprisingly decent film for Florentine, Adkins and B. Well made. I watched it with pleasure.
Well, Scott, of course, holds his own in fights.

Celpaso, there are more shootouts in the film than fights, but they don’t look like the trailer.

In general, I liked the film more than the same “Ninja 2” or “Redeemer” by Zaror.

      Wave,

Absolutely the opposite impression. But the taste and color)

About Reid’s likeness: no one would give them a budget for something like that.
About weapons: everything is justified here... there wasn’t enough time and money to film a fight using weapons :)

They would film something like a raid, well, not a copy, but simply where it would be justified that he alone has many of them and few weapons, there is much more brutality in him than in Rama. You don't need a big budget, but Scott wasn't impressed with this fight with the cowboys(

I’m glad that Scott doesn’t exploit his old tricks in battles to their holes, diversifying the fights in new films

The scene reminds me of Tom Yum Gung 2, cool!

    Already blocked, damn it

Why are they all without weapons??

Do you know what this reminds me of? Low-budget "Hostage", even more low-budget Statham and others like them. Everything - from the locations and the hero’s leather jacket to the filming style. Scott even looks like Jason now)) And even the pasted expression on his face does not change.
Starting at 1:17, what was the guy in the white hat on the floor doing for so long? Waiting your turn?
Well, in general... I didn’t expect a miracle.
Thank you for the long takes, of course, I love them very much, but what's the point of them here?

Frankly, it's a pity for Scott... such an action talent is wasted...

I liked the long fight scenes without editing. Well, in general, it looks mediocre so far.....waiting for the trailer.
