In January of this year, work began on the long-awaited continuation of the Kickboxer franchise. The new and, tentatively, final part will be released under the title "Kickboxer: Armageddon" (Kickboxer: Armageddon).
As in the previous parts of the Kickboxer reboot, the main role will be played by Alain Moussi. There are already footage of him online:
The director of the film, Dimitri Logothetis, promises that the new film will surpass the previous one in quality:
I finished writing the third film about a month and a half ago. Its title is "Kickboxer: Armageddon". If you liked Retaliation, Kickboxer: Armageddon will blow your mind. The type of fight scenes I have in store for this film will take us to a whole new level. I have an oner planned that will surpass the oner from Retribution. It's going to take us to a whole new level and we're absolutely thrilled and looking forward to having a lot of fun filming it.
“Oner” is the same technique of shooting scenes in a “long shot” without visible cuts.

Also, Logothetis hinted that negotiations are underway regarding participation in the film with Mike Tyson, Ronaldinho и Christopher Lambert. Hypothetically, more UFC legends could star in the film: Georges St-Pierre (Kickboxer), Urijah Faber, Cody Garbrandt; soccer superstar Neymar (xXx: Return of Xander Cage) and rap legend Snoop Dogg.
In addition to the hypothetical names of this project, there are already confirmed ones. And the most intriguing thing is - Scott Adkins!

, said director Dimitri Logothetis. Adkins will play the film's main villain, a martial artist named Caesar who rules over a brutal cult of descendants of Burma's Royal Elite Guard. Caesar's teaching philosophy is based on the principle of learning through pain.
According to the plot, the hero Alain Moussi (Kurt Sloane) will track down Caesar by infiltrating a network of underground fights in Malaysia. His goal is revenge for the murder of his relatives who died from the explosion intended for him.
Besides Adkins UFC stars confirmed in the film: Paige Vanzant, Jorge Masvidal и Derrick Lewis.
Paige VanZant was previously offered to star in 2018's Kickboxer, but it didn't materialize. This time the situation has changed.
And Jorge Masvidal was announced in the film "Hurricane“, but it’s not possible to find anything about Derrick Lewis’ film roles.
