Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist – new series from Capcom

Remember the short film Joey Ansah и Owen Trevor called “Street Fighter: Legacy” (Street Fighter Legacy) with John Fu и Christian Howard starring?

The wishes of the fans were heard, and according to the resource Variety company "Capcom" production of a new series will begin in the near future “Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist”. Its international distribution in 2013 will be handled by "Content Media Corpo". This was announced yesterday at Comic Con 2012 game producer Street Fighter Yoshinori Ono.

The plot of the television series is based on the formative years of iconic game characters. Ryu и Kena, who, living in one of the secluded places of Japan, led a traditional military life. The young men, without knowing it themselves, were the last adherents of an ancient fighting style called "Ansatsuken" (Assassin's Fist). As the story progresses, they learn about their teacher's mysterious past. Gokena, and about the tragic and dark legacy of the style "Ansatsuken".

The project was developed Joey Ansah, who will again act as director.

Joey Ansah: “Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist” will be what all fans have been waiting for. “Legacy” was only a “primer”, just a hint of what the film adaptation of “Street Fighter” would be like.

Christian Howard, who starred in “Heritage” and written in collaboration with Ansa script for the future series, said:

Our main goal is to preserve the style, fighting techniques and canons of the “Street Fighter” game. At the same time, we managed to develop a story based on the emotions and behavior of the characters, it will surprise those who expected only genre super-fights.
