Just 20 hours ago, Emperor Motion Pictures posted the first two-minute trailer for Benny Chan's new film Shaolin on YouTube. The cast is good: Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Wu Jing, Fan Bin-bin and Jackie Chan (occasional appearance). The fight director is Corey Yuen Kwai.
Due to hostility between military leaders seeking to seize neighboring lands by war, China plunged into the abyss of discord. On a wave of euphoria from success on the battlefield, the young and arrogant Hao Zhe, after winning a duel over one of the Shaolin masters, begins to taunt them. But pride does not lead to good. When his own family is brutally murdered by a rival warlord, Hao is forced to take refuge with the monks. Civil unrest is growing, people are suffering, so Hao and the Shaolin Masters will have to put up a desperate resistance against the evil warlords. Will they engage in some daring plan or flee for their lives?
