Film studios are developing a new sports drama about women's fights without rules Universe Pictures Group и Mr. Bravo Entertainment Group. In the director's chair is debutant Jaze Bordo, who is also the film's producer.
Synopsis: Mixed martial arts fighter Cassidy Jones has given her all to this sport and is now forced to take a long break, which she doesn’t really like. However, with the appearance of a mysterious promoter, the chance for a truly great fight against a serious opponent appears. But after a while, Cassidy begins to realize that this fight is not just a typical match. This is a fight where everything is on the line.
The creators say that in terms of atmosphere and mood, Excelsis will be something between “Rocky” (1976) by Sylvester Stallone, “Another Karate Kid” (1994) by Hilary Swank and the already mentioned “Fight Valley”.
The main role will be played by an athlete and a model. Carly Rose, for which this film will also be the debut. Female mixed martial arts stars are promised to appear in the film.
