In connection with the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, a new poster and trailer for the film "One Million K(l)icks".

"One Million K(l)icks" is a German martial arts film in which the character Mike Moeller, makes money by participating in underground fights. But one day he realizes that money and fame mean nothing when his life becomes an object of entertainment for spectators watching fights via the Internet.

I think many people have noticed how the original title of the film is played out, in which the words “Kicks” and “Klicks” are intertwined. I wonder what our translators will call it for Russian viewers? Or will it be the banal “One million clicks”?

By the way, who hasn't seen the previous trailer? welcome.

There is no point for our translators to bother translating the title and localizing the film, because it won’t be shown in cinemas here, and no one will really buy it on DVD in Russia, because no one knows anything about it. Therefore, I think this is how they will translate “One million k(l)iks.”
And I wrote about this film a long time ago. Meller is definitely a technically and physically very fierce dude. But everything we see with him is a movie made by stuntmen for stuntmen. The fights are spectacular, although they have already been seen many times in showreels, and partly in other films with tricking and XMA. There is a danger that this will not be a movie, but a plot-integrated showreel. Everything is great, the creators are great fellows and obvious professionals, and even in general they are developing, only within a certain niche, beyond which they do not go. That is, yes, everything is cool and somersaults and all sorts of twists and hyper hooks and guyver kicks... but.. these are somersaults for the sake of somersaults.
