New trailer for the action movie Zombie Fight Club

End of the century. On the outskirts of the city there is a building in which crime reigns, and the inhabitants have turned into zombies. After Jenny's boyfriend is killed during an attack by the living dead, she must fight to survive. Andy Ona's character helps her escape danger. Her boyfriend, once a sweet and good-natured chemistry teacher, turned into a cruel and evil creature and became the leader of the zombies.

Some embittered activists stage deadly battles between zombies and prisoners; it seems that there is no trace of humanity left. Now that chaos reigns everywhere, will people be able to build a new world? There is only uncertainty ahead. What is there left to wait for? The end of the world? Hope? Or death?

The film will premiere on October 23, 2014.

Trenshnyak (inspired by "Raid", in my opinion...

The film appeared with a translation... So, for those who are interested. ;)

. They have such strong acting and cinematography that a simple exchange of blows looks cool.
In my opinion, the hero of “The Beast” fights like a former soldier should fight, without show-offs or tricks.

Right. Their simple exchange of blows looks cool because they mix genres very subtly. This is Van Damme, no matter whether he plays a simple librarian or a labor teacher, he is always ready to do a roundhouse kick. And this will be inappropriate if his hero should not be able to do this, should not do this.
For the Koreans, everything is structured correctly from the point of view of this logic.
It’s just that a certain circle of viewers, focusing on Ong Baki, Undisputed and other examples, as a rule, are waiting for some of the same “obvious” fights, with flying in dreams and in reality. Koreans film fights as an artistic device, as an addition to the film. They focus on something completely different. Everything here, as they say, is not for everyone.

Well, here we have armchair experts, there will also be a text boxer))

Either they let me down, or they praised me... the devil knows.)))

They praised me :) I’m not trained to put them down on the Internet, there are more than enough text boxers without me ;)

The Koreans have a different approach to action - they are not faced with the question of how to fill the breaks between fights (like the Thais). The drama is okay. And it doesn’t matter whether he’s a famous actor or a newcomer. They have such strong acting and cinematography that a simple exchange of blows looks cool.

. He is probably incapable of surprising someone at the level of Ravenside five times more, no matter how ridiculous this crookedly constructed phrase may sound.

Korean cinema is very atypical. Koreans build drama and relationships in a completely different way, and build a plot specifically (as, indeed, every country does). Despite the fact that they are all flagships of taekwondo, you will see it to a lesser extent on the screen. “City of Violence” in this sense is even a retro action movie. They now gravitate towards hard and choppy action. Perhaps they decided to work on contrasts, perhaps this is a tribute to fashion. Another thing is how they work with actors, music and pictures - this is just poetry.

I already said that “The Beast” is a complete UG...apparently someone didn’t believe my words.

Nothing surprising. It's always worth checking for yourself. No one has canceled taste, one’s own opinion and other tra-la-la. They once wrote to me that Ong-Bak is completely Ug, but now I can bury him alive for such words. However, in this case, our tastes and opinions clearly coincided, the beast disappointed :(

By the way, has anyone watched the South Korean action movie "Shiri"? I watched it as a child, and I almost don’t remember... but I liked the film at the time. But now I don’t know if it’s worth reviewing.

They recommended the Korean film Beast. The very first fight sucks, indistinct blows in the air, drunk cameraman, disgusting camera angles. Deleted :(
I don’t care, I’m happy to watch without plots, give me a normal fight. Watched Nowhere Man. The film is overpraised. A bunch of Koreans (not bad) who cry, shave with clippers, cry again and fight inarticulately. Of course the mentality, everything. Clearly very different from Hollywood. Well, I like Asian cinema, but this one turned out to be too specific. The fighting is frankly not very good. Although the moment with the operator jumping out the window is of course awesome. The film itself is not bad, but it is peculiar and clearly incapable of surprising with fights. This is me. He is probably unable to surprise someone at the level of Ravenside five times more, no matter how ridiculous this crookedly constructed phrase may sound. But the City of Violence, on the contrary, pleased me. A lot of interesting things, fights with melee weapons, some tricks. Nice to see. I don’t know how to feel about Korean action films now. The couple of Vietnamese films that I have seen are superior to the whole of Korea in terms of showmanship of fights, except for the city of violence (which, to be honest, is not about that either).

I watched 4 Korean films on the same topic - Suspect, The Graduate, Secret Mission, Spies - almost at the same time. Of all, the most dynamic and “adult”, one might say, is the Suspect. It's on par with what I think is the best Korean spy action movie, The Berlin Affair. "The Crying Killer" (or Don't Cry for the Dead) is an entertaining film, of course, but illogical in terms of the characters' actions and therefore boring.

Yyyy did you watch “The Usual Suspect”?))

How I looked!!! Excellent MOVIE is an understatement. And yesterday I watched THE CRYING KILLER. Also a great movie. I am delighted with Korean cinema. By the way, KILLER was directed by the same guy (you know...) who filmed THE MAN FROM NOWHERE. Bravo!!!

It's some kind of crap... But I'll see, for Andy's sake, She might reveal something interesting. :)
For myself, I put this film in the “on the second monitor” category. )

Somehow, no way at all! Color grading completely killed me! It doesn't look right at all. (although of course. After the Korean SUSPECT, I am now dissatisfied with many things about the color core) Andy He is mediocre. But I didn’t notice Philip Ng at all. This is what it means to try on the image of Bruce Lee. He drowned and won't come up.
