Resource FCS reports: new action movie "Once Upon A Time in Shanghai" (Once Upon a Time in Shanghai) by company Won Jina Mega Vision Pictures Ltd. (MVP), directed by a young director Won Chin Po, is due out in China on January 8, 2014.
It is worth clarifying that the plot of the film has changed again:
Early 20th century. Zhen Ma Yun finds herself among the people hoping to find work in Shanghai. Being a decent man, he refuses to become a member of one of the gangster groups and finds a friend in the person of the [noble] gangster Qi Long. Japanese spy Hashimoto, outraged by Qi Long's refusal to accept his offer, tries to kill them both. Fortunately, Zhen manages to survive, and now he decides to help his own by ridding Shanghai of criminal elements.
Starring Philip Ng, Andy He, Sammo Hung, Jiang Luxia, Kelly Lin, Karina Lau and others. The legendary Yuen Wuping.
