A little belated news about a new project Luc Besson. The famous director and producer took on the French-Chinese project"Warrior's Gate"(Warriors Gate). The film will be shot Matthias Höhne, and the main roles went to Mark Chao и Uriah Shelton.
According to Besson, who will become the producer and one of the screenwriters of the film, this is a film in the fantasy genre, with very similar content to "Forbidden kingdom" a plot in which a teenager is magically transported to ancient China and learns kung fu there.
The audience of our site will probably be interested in the main villain of the film, who will be played by Dave Batista. Also, the cast includes Ron Smoorenburg, which in itself gives rise to hope for good fights. But it is still unknown who will do the fight choreography.
Filming will begin in May this year. The premiere date is still unknown.

I remember. The Kingdom showed great promise, and in the end it turned out to be a good film in terms of fights and plot, and Lee and Jackie didn’t disappoint, but everything was ruined by this twist about “the boy who was beaten at school and the women won’t let him.” Transformers were spoiled by the same thing in their time, IMHO.
I hope this will not happen here.
