Vietnamese-American actor and fighter MMA Kung Le (Chung Le) will take part in the filming of a new crime drama with the theme MMA called "Eyes of the Dragon" (Dragon Eyes). Joel Silver Company "Dark Castle" and the Courtney Solomon Company "After Dark Films" will begin production on the film next month in Baton Rouge, N.C. Louisiana.

Kung Le will play the role of a mysterious man who comes from a poor area of New Orleans with the goal of uniting two warring gangster groups against corrupt law enforcement officials who use the services of gangs for their own selfish purposes. I watched his fights in MMA and Sanshou - indeed, beyond all praise! How subtly he senses the enemy and how powerfully he is rooted in stance and movement - this cannot but impress! And his kicks and throws are just something!

I love Kung, his MMA fights are something very spectacular.

But still, casting him in the lead role is a bit of a controversial choice. He has not yet proven his acting abilities, and in fights it will be difficult for choreographers, because he is a real fighter and not a movie fighter. The situation is similar now with Jing Woo, he looks cool in supporting roles but is not comparable to the main character either in terms of charisma or acting.
